The Dogmother
Threads tend to wax and wane over time, people leave them for various reasons, most seem to come back. I expect that it'll pick up again soon enough. Things tend to slow down around this time of year, what with exams and stuff to be getting on with. Cooks
I feel that both my boys made a pact early in life to mess up anything I have already tidied.. I am sat on my bottom now and I am refusing to get up for another half hour, then its kitchen floor which takes ages to do properly because it's too big! trouble is trying to convince the dogs that they dont need to walk on my clean floor isn't going well... we disagree on this isue, they think it's fun to chase the mop head too!,
clootie
My leccy is supposed to be going off at 11.00 and its 11.06 - any minute now !!!!
The Dogmother
Well, Rosie's room is now beyond the pale! She has gone from being a tidy child to an untidy teenager, and I object to freshly laundered and ironed clothes being dumped on the floor. It has been really bad for so long now that I am going in with a bin bag and shovel while she's away at guide camp this weekend. I have asked her dad to pop round and help me shift furniture to get the hoover and mop underneath. i am not a tidy fanatic, far from it, but it has to be clean. They always tell me that it is nothing like as bad as some they have to deal with. I want to believe them

The Dogmother
I need to work on day less per week to get the cleaning done... fat chance of that happening.
Cooks
well all that talk of cleaning ovens, I just spent the best part of an hour scrubbing mine clean, in fairness to me it is a range with TWO ovens. I hate cleaning my oven *sigh* I got my arms all soggy and had to change my top and I still haven't mopped the kitchen floor... oh well later now my arms are killing me from scrubbing the glass doors. Laura & CTB
Tut - you should all do like me and clean your oven after each time you use it - that way it takes just a couple of minutes I could, at this point start to feel smug... ( I wont because at this moment I know my utility room floor has nearly got more aubiose on it than the chicken run floor)
Egluntyne
..... in fairness to me it is a range with TWO ovens. In my defence, so is mine! It looks like a showroom model now. I could never get it that clean in a month of Sundays.

Geoid
My day was good, got some help from a teacher about maths I can now rationalise surds (not as dramatic as you may think ) Also, I'm sorry if my posts came across as unpleasant, overly sarcastic or grumpy. Its hard to tell on a forum what you are really trying to say, and I'm sorry if my posts have made you offended, made upset or anything.
