Carolinep
What I want to know is, why do the grey ones have to grow in an upwards direction first? Almost shouting cooooooeeeeeeeee look at me!!!!! Definately dye it, been doing that for years. Love your hair colours Paola, wish I had the guts to go brighter..
The Dogmother
I love them too Paola I htink that shaving is about the only thing I haven't done to my hair yet. Phil gets worried when I go tto the hairdresser and always asks whether he'll recognise me when I've finished
Snowy
I'm with the dye it brigade. My first grey hairs appeared when I was 21. I haven't seen my natural colour since! I love colouring my hair - and changing the style, it's a great way of expressing yourself. Just last year i realised it had finally gone grey enough for me to go blonde (naturally it's quite dark brown). I just sling a nice'n easy on it - it looks like I've had expensive highlights in it! (at least thats what my hairdresser tells me - but I suspect that might be b*ll) Paola your hair looks great! I was never brave enough to go that dark and bright - it's fantastic! Helly Welly
Claret, you should try shaving your hair off. I have a grade one, complete with grey hairs, and i love it. It's very liberating, i never have a bad hair day, my OH does it for me thereby saving me a fortune and i haven't used any shampoo for months. A quick wipe with a flannel in the morning and my hair is done
The Dogmother
I used to have it very short Helly Welly - you never know - it could happen one day!
Chickpea
Dye it! My mum has had her hair a very bright magenta for a few years now and never fails to turn heads! She says she's forgotton her real colour! Paola - your hair is fab and funky Oh and if you decide go for the dye, make sure you get a good quality one, few years ago I did mine purple but when it started to wash out my hair turned green and I had to have it all cut off! -mum not impressed she used to be a hairdresser! SarahJo
I voted for fake it ... having said that there was another report on the dangers of home-dye this week . I always use a semi-permanent and stick with the same brand ...... but still wonder about all the chemicals being applied ...... us ladies and our vanity. . Heres a thought ... do any of the MEN on the forum dye their bonce .

One Man Banned
I will happily admit that I have my hair dyed every eight weeks. Only recently have I allowed some of my natural colour to grow through and had another colour and bleach put through it. Due another colour in a few weeks and am often stuck for colour inspiration, I've had red and blond, near black and white (a la badger ) purple put through it copper too and nearly every shade of blond has gone in there at some point. My mum used to say that my hair will fall out with all this dying it but it's a nightmare as it grows so thickly and I have to have it thinned to take some weight out of it. Now.......do you think I could copy your fab hair Paola and still be able to go to work......... they always seem to get fussy over things like hair colour....hmnn A xx
Lesley
You could do it in the corporate colours Andrew? We always told my sister that her hair would fall out as she changed colour so often - she now has terrible hair and big problems with it My hair though is soft and in excellent condition........................ and rat colour You obviously can't have it both ways
Christian
I have been blond, black, chestnut, purple, auburn, had high lights, and low lights. Getting thinner by the month, just can't face a grade 1 all over, I'd look like a convict
