Guest
I'm always tempted to try them again too! Only because some people rave about how lovely they are and I think i must be missing out on something. So i try them again and realise, nope, aint missing anything here!!!! LOL It's funny too because the people that tell me they're lovely usually smother them in tobasco!!???? LuckyChickenLover-
My mum tried caviar once- she said it was discusting. Considering that oysters and caviar are supposed to be posh you'd at least expect them to taste decent. I have to say that although I've never tried oysters they look discusting . All slimy . bluekarin
Marmite has to stay out! I love it! Oysters can go in though. And any other slimy yucky shellfish (not prawns though, as I quite like them)
sadietoo
It must be me then. I just don't get it at all. well you and me Egluntyne, cos I don't see the point of it at all either! I'll have all the oysters, i love them You can have all mine too Claire, although My OH would probably get to them first. Once OH and a friend had oysters to start their meal, then their mains, and then instead of pudding, they had another six oysters each
Ain't Nobody Here
I like marmite, HP sauce, oysters and celery (I must be wierd ). Off the subject of food (sort of!) can the people in shops who pick something up then decide a bit later on that they don't actually want it, so just dump it wherever they happen to be please go in Room 101 . Why would you pick up a tin of beans or some cheese, then decide you don't want it and leave it amongst the loo paper or chocolate . How hard is it to go back and put it in the right place . Almost as bad as dropping litter, in my book. Someone has to collect it and put it back . (Someone did that in M&S today - just dumped something that looked like a hairband amongst the chocolate at the checkout .)
Snowy
Talking of shellfish - can I chuck whelks in please? OH insisted on some the other week - I swear they were waving their tentacles at me as they went in his mouth. Nasty rubbery things

Valkyrie
Or you both go in I like oysters, but deep fried. We used to get them at a really post Chinese restaurant in London years ago. Don't think it's there now - it used to be very popular. All part of an appetizer course. They were my favourite along with huuuuge crab claws. Never tried raw - yuk to just the thought of it clinging as it fights against being swallowed. But whelks, cockles and snails can all go in - rubbery lumps of bleh.
