Baby - new pics

Recommended Posts

I'm sure this will have been mentioned above but raspberry tea, pineapple and house work worked for me

I went into nesting mode big time, husband came home to find out I'd bleached everything, scrubbed the shower and put up a new curtain rail and made curtains for the spare room :P I think my son thought he'd come out to have a rest

Goodluck

been for a very-long-for-pregnant-person walk around delamere forest, but to no avail, I feel no more like giving birth than I did on Friday morning.

Don't know what to do with myself any more, I'm soooooo bored fat and fed up. Woe is me. Derby day this afternoon so no going out for us as hubby will be glued to the match and shouting "come on you Bluuuuuueeeeeesss!" so avidly that he won't even be able to make conversation nevermind take my mind off things....

Come on missus. Interrupt daddy's footie, I dare you!!

thanks for the wishes and prayers everyone, it really cheers me up to come on here and see everyone's comments, as waiting for a baby can seem quite lonely even with a housefull of people!!

nothing doing yet, just had my lunch and am going to have a nap in a wee while. May as well while the footie is on, and most likely is the last time I will get a nap on a sunday!

managed a small snooze onthe couch but someone *ahem* has her shoulders battering my bladder and no longer either wants to make an appearance NOR for mum to take it easy. Little minx.

Feel quite fluey now, with headache, and also I always get a bit of cystitis when I catch a cold/chill so the shoulder is particularly uncomfortable. Not to mention the fact that she's spun 90degrees in the wrong direction for emergence.

:shameonu: now now little miss, if you want daddy to stay home from work tomorrow your time is running out to start sorting out that grand entrance.

Ok, change your mind. :notalk: You don't want her to come out :talk2hand: nope, you're definitely not ready :notalk: You need at least two or three more days... if you are really convincing she is bound to make a speedy appearance!!

I've been making first proper baby preparations today. The spare room has been covered in base coat and is drying, waiting for when we get chance to cover it in the colours I've picked. It'll double up as a guest room for a while, even after new Bogwoppit arrives as she can be shifted back in with us whenever needed. Plus she'll be in our room for a while to begin anyway. Roll on mid-Jan - but not too quickly!

Big hugs xxxx

lol, at least you'll be lovely and toasty over christmas :D we saved a fortune on heating when I was due to pop last time on new year's eve!! He was three days late, but I started in full blown labour on the 1st, it just took 43 hours of hard slog.

It's so exciting making baby preparations, babs will be going in with my son once she's big enough but the plan is to keep her in our room in a bedside cot for probably the first yr. My son co-slept (see, I guess that I AM a bit of an earth-mother!!) until he was 2 1/2 :P

I did all this baby's prep so long ago, the dresses are already smelling musty and I've forgotten where I've hidden the cotton wool and spare breast pads.

Got really bad heartburn tonight, so am guessing she's not decided to move any further to getting out. Not a twitch or twinge this evening either. :wall:

What a rotter! I'm sort of preparing already - we've got our twenty week scan tomorrow, so if they confirm it's deffo a boy then time to get the nicer girl stuff on ebay to fund boy stuff buying. We have a nursery already, which is gender neutral, but Mog will need to move out. We put her in her own room at four months, and newBaby will be in wth us until about the same age, so she's got some grace. Problem is that her room is currently the laundry and still has some vile built in wardrobes which need to come out! We made the first step by moving some of the stuff out last week, but I generally can't be fagged by the time I've been at work all day and then she's gone to bed at 9. Maybe I will be virtuous and move some furniture tonight...

I bought a blue pram a couple of weeks ago to try and convince myself I didn't mind it was a boy. :wall:
