bronze
its a rubbish picture. its actually quite pretty each year we add a decoration for each child and write their name and the year on it
patsylabrador
These are our decorations. The tree decorations are starting to get a bit tatty now as a couple of them are about 20 years old and were made by the kids. We buy things wherever we go and there are lots of memories on there so I wouldn't want to change it. I'm loving having a nose at everyone else's decorations, it makes me feel very festive. I hang loads of stars that the kids made about 15 years ago from the ceiling in my back room and they're very glittery and messy but it's also the room that stuff gets dumped in so I won't be showing a picture of those decorations! meezers
We bought our tree yesterday, it took ages to decide, the Nordman firs were a lovely shape but the Frasier firs smelt gorgeous. We bought a Frasier and I've already decided we'll have a Nordman next year Have spent the last 2 hours shifting furniture and hoovering to make room for the tree, might have pictures this afternoon. The Dogmother
Well, I sloshed across a muddy farmyard yesterday to buy our tree, which is currently on the patio until I finish decorating in the living room. It will look much like meezers' tree in the post above - I don't do tinsel and only have white lights and a few decorations. Rosie is in charge of decorating it when it's up. Egluntyne
Here's mine. I went to the 'less is more' school of tree decoration and don't do tinsel or riotous colour. Blue and silver this year.
MummyHen
I went for the usual, which is normally red and gold combo but OH and son complained that it was boring and same as last year. Ok no problem I can shop and buy more decs - so I went for silver and blue; but left it late and the choice of different shapes of bauble was limited. Anyway here's our tree. BTW - Tinsel , Tinsel, Tinsel
Chickvic
Wow - some fantastic trees again, might go for blue and silver myself. I think that looks lovely...nah I like my 'decorated in the dark' look

Woodcat
We've got a tradition that every person who spends christmas with us or who we spend time with around christmas has to give us a decoration that they think symbolises them and each year we buy one more taking it in turns who buys it. This year it's my turn so i need to find something appropriate. becuase of this we have a real mismash of traditional decorations and weird ones. When we put the tree up we spend an evening doing it and talk about how we got each one and who from. It's really lovely but looks a bit weird. Alis girls
I tend to buy something new and put on every year - also have some hand made ones by the kids which I will never chuck as sentimental to me. Ours is still standing and to my knowledge cats hve left it alone - still time thou
Alis girls
BTW I am allergic to tinsel - once wore as a boa to a party and came out in a nasty rash - horrible stuff
