Chicken shack
I came down stairs to make tea this morning to find a deer outside my kitchen window. He hung around for some time OH took some pictures when I have time I will post them. Mind you I think they are of his rear end. Beets beer cans over the garden wall any day. Valkyrie
Sounds lovely. Countryside time means no hurrying. Well apart from animals demanding to be fed etc. Plenty of time to find the bits you need. *sighs*
Chicken shack
It has been 8 months since we moved house and I love it. Hubby has taken longer to settle but is getting there. I have found the instructions on down loading images so here goes. My chickens FR and WIR attached to Omlet train. I can't seem to add more to this so I will add another post. Chicken shack
Charlie drake, Tonto The Indian Runner and Daisy Duck. They have quite a large area to FR but because of the river the whole garden is off bounds. They would probably make a break for it.

Sorry if its in your thread & I missed it. Alli x SM I moved from Ilford east London to Norfolk. The house is nothing special and needs updating but the garden, neighbours except one, the village and amenities are fantastic. I smile when I look out of the wondow everyday. I love being out in the garden.

sparkysmum
so so so fantastic. You have to have the most contented chickens Simon and I frequently fantasise about where to live, having some land etc when we retire - you've actually done it. Wishing you many, many happy years in your little bit of paradise. Alli x

Chicken shack
Wow it looks gorgeous your so lucky to have so much space and so many chickens I was also wondering in the picture with the ducks where did you get the netting from sorry im looking for some for my silkies Hi Gloss-Hen I got my netting from Knowle Nets Poultry and bird netting. The image shows a section of my old Omlet netting. The Knowles netting is not electrifiable but is very strong and CHEAP. Buy metal post with a hook on the end from Wicks about £3 each and push them in the ground.

I'm originally a S.E London girl and after a few moves have now ended up in Derbyshire. Can't beat open space & views Sorry to disapoint you scubababe but my house was built in 1984 and nothing has been done to it since. Pink bathroom suit and all. We were not planning on moving, it was all done on a whim. I was not due to retire for a few years but I came home from work last April and Hubby said he wanted to find out how much we could get for our house. This was the 1st house we veiwed at the end of April and we fell in love with the garden and location. The rest is history. Could not afford to buy new bathroom suit as I now have no wages so I revamped it with reto tiles and it looks great. New kitchen though Lots of other stuff to do but I am in the garden most days, even yesterday in the rain.
