For once I am speechless! That was a big surprise. Thats what happens when you have the same password as each other to things . My husband having spare cash????:think: More like a large glass of wine and a credit card! (speaking from previous experience) Still who am I to complain when it means more girls and another eglu! I will have created a menagerie in a single week.

I'm so excited .....

so new sig will have to include (purple eglu)(Bluebelle)PPGNR(white chicken) or whatever combination I happen to come home with. At this rate I will be taking up an entire page with it.

Now if only I had known I would have plied him with more wine and maybe ended up with a cube :lol::lol:

trouble is there are bound to be strings attached! Like ...hmmm.... I don't think he has ever cleaned out the first one yet, or done the early morning wake up call (although they now know how to open the door themselves :) - apart of course when I decide to have a lay-in and they suddenly 'forget'!). Something tells me I will be cleaning out 2 eglus..., doing all the cooking, all the cleaning etc etc etc for years to come, based on the 'well the omleteers think I am lovely and I did buy you that lovely purple eglu 10 years ago' :

:lol: I was beginning to think that Mr Redfrock was doing rather well out of all this!

Don't worry, Omleteers are right behind you. All OHs should take their turn at cleaning and we might start mentioning those who do. I think (& Paul) does his fair share and so does Daniel. My DH does if I ask him, but never thinks of it himself.

So speak up for Mrs Redfrock if your OH cleans out the eglu!

CTB woudn't dream of cleaning out the eglu but then I still "enjoy" looking after my girlies

he did, however, build them their beautiful new run so guess he's still in credit at the moment

I must admit it is exactly the same here. I do love looking after my girls and am very protective of them! And he has built a them beautiful huge run (yes the one I got locked in that day  ), and now Bibble is having the most enormous handcrafted cage made, followed by an extension for the best boys (the GPs) and two runs. So I am very very lucky. But then so is he - after all, he married me!

You are both so lucky having a chap who knows which end of a screwdriver is which!

Him Indoors hasn't a clue. :rol:

He does do all the Christmas food though........mince pies, cake, pudding and dinner.......so he does have his uses.!

Sadly funds won't stretch to an eglu at the moment, but Hubby did surprise me by arranging to rescue 4 battery hens for us next week, which was 2 more than I suggested when one of ours died, and now he's busy each evening after work building a big enclosed run for them, so I guess he deserves a big hug!

:D
