When my marriage ended I swore I would never want to see anyone again, everyone told me I would feel differently in time and they were right. An old boyfriend (30 years ago when I was 20) contacted me on fb and we have kept in contact - he asked me out for a drink a year ago and I finally agreed to go out with him on my birthday with a couple of mutual friends in October. However he sent me a lovely message after court on Monday and said if I just wanted to unwind and chat he would love to see me sooner - so he is coming to St Albans on Sunday evening :D I feel like a teenager again :dance:

We met in the pub, he was waiting outside for me (such chivalry :D ) and drove me home afterwards. My son had just got in from work so was able to say hello. He rang me at 8 this morning and asked me to got out to dinner tomorrow :P This afternoon I heard Sam telling Jack that he was really quite good looking and had a nice car - I had to go into the garden I was laughing so much :lol:
