The Dogmother
I love snow, but I haven't done with summer yet and autumn is already edging in. I hate the darkness, if it can be bright like today then I don't mind.
meezers
yes, it will arrive on the 24th October and last until the 26th and it will stop all trains running due to 'wrong type of snow ' on the tracks. I know this because we are booked to go to Blackpool by train on those dates( first time using the train for over 10 years). I've been saving my Tescos clubcard vouchers to exchange for train and Pleasure beach tickets, so of course it will snow and everything will be cancelled

Bramble
Nooooooooooo, it can't ....... my Omlet must have folding snow shovel isn't due to arrive from Amazon now 'til November, that's too late I love snow too, but the novelty has worn off a bit over recent years, with guttering collapsing everytime a flake of snow lands on it and a central heating system that's allergic to cold weather
Bramble
... On the other hand, it could be like the BBQ summer we were promised last year, that never materialised either, did it!?
Chicken shack
It will snow on 1st October through to 15th October. I also know this as I am taking my sister to the airport on the 1st and collecting her on 15th. It will then clear up until the next down fall on 24th as previously mentioned unless we have any more dates added.
Olly
Noooo! I haven't ordered the Yaktrax yet! Actually, you're all wrong - it's going to snow heavily in North Yorkshire from 22-25th October, because that's when I'm going to visit my brother in Middleham. Purplemaniacs
No, I hate snow we can't be getting some that early in the winter. The thought of trying to drive 14 miles to school in the white stuff fills me with dread. Chrissie

Chrissie I don't envy your school run at all Mine is a new one for me, across country down country lanes with a good stretch of road that is only wide enough for one vehicle with a few passing points Same here and that's following a very steep driveway. We have to park the car 50 yards or so from the house. Last year the snow was so deep that the children couldn't walk in it so we had to carry them down to the car and back up when we did the school run/shopping etc. Please, please please a milder Winter than last year.
