My lovely (not) four year old nephew has a way with words. Having snatched a biscuit off his sister's plate and been told "that's not yours" he instantly replied "it is now!"

 

So glad he's not mine ...

Having just whacked his older brother and had a telling off my YS of 3 1/2 said 'Don't get cross with me, I'm only small' Hmmmmmmm! He also cuddled up to me yesterday and, stroking my cheek so sweetly said 'I love your face; its got crinkles'!

I son who is 6 saw somebody mowing their lawn, said "They are shaving the grass"

Another one I have just remembered! Again my son I took the car to be cleaned at our local garden centre, as they do a fantastic job. The chap said that it was £15 for just a wash but for £5 extra it can be waxed. Son pipes up "Does it hurt?!?"

When I was pregnant my son (not quite 3 years old at the time) came to see the nurse with me when I had to have an injection. He suddenly piped up and asked "Will you pop Mummy?". He was most disappointed when I didn't!

My ES when very small asked a large girl if she had a baby in her tummy

My nephew (who is was staying with my Mum last week. Noticing the rather large bunion that she has on her foot, nephew piped up "Grandma, are you growing another toe?"

My ES now 15 said "ooh look a horse" and pointed to an Alsastian dog sitting in the car next to ours on the petrol station forecourt. How I didnt spill petrol everywhere I dont know I had a giggling fit.

 

Now I know why we become embarrassing mums - to get our own back - the times I've wanted to die when they shriek "nose" when someone with a big nose walks past. Revenge is sweet - rubs her hands in glee

A child in my class (three and four years old) this week came running over to tell me she had just seen a 'loonycorn' flying in the sky...they will forever be called that for me now!
