fall down the stairs

Recommended Posts

I knew Id gone too long without doing something stupid  My knee has not been right for a long time and on Monday it gave way when I was going up stairs. I fell face forward from top to bottom landing in a heap surrounded by broken cereal dish glass coffee and juice. Thankfully I didnt break any bones but Ive got some HUGE bruises. Im afraid I dont bouce that well any more :(

Tiggy I learnt a long time ago not to get sympathy from others in the surgery. If I was wheeled in in a coffin I would be told off for something - get well soon

:lol::lol: you're not wrong there. Many years ago I had a very bad asthma attack at work and was wheeled out to the ambulance when one of the patients tugged my sleeve to ask where I thought I was going because she had an appointment with me :wall: Just as well I was hooked up to the oxygen and she could hear what I said :lol:

My patients have been very sympathetic tho

Ouchy!!

Poor you! x

I fell off a two-step ladder a few weeks back and ended up battered and bruised and in tears - I thought I had broken my arm. (In retrospect........methinks I should have gone to A&E at the time as it's weeks later and still very painful.)

I just don't seem to bounce as well anymore.......

Oh Tiggy I feel for you... Five weeks ago I went to bed, then decided to go downstairs to make sure the girls had turned the lights off after feeding their pets, and went down in the dark stairway, and missed just one step,The last one to make it worse, and one hour later was in a&e with a broken metatarsal. I received quickly but couldn't drive for ages, which was awful. Last time ever I'm trying to be green and check in lights.

Thankfully unlike you I don't have to go to work, I don't know how I'd cope with life if not only OH and DDs had expectations but work had some too.

I'm thinking of investing in inflatable protection suits, wanna join me in a business venture?
