Waterproof jackets for £5.99 !!!!! today only

Recommended Posts

I had a problem with this company a while ago. They put out an offer and let me go through checkout, sent out the confirmation email etc only to say it was out of stock days later. They were still advertising the item online as in stock. I had added full price items to the order to qualify for free postage. Strangely all of my full price items were in stock  I sent the whole lot back. If I remember correctly, they are the same company as Sports Direct which sells on the High Street at the same prices.

I have an issue with Sports Direct! Their internet prices are different from those on the High Street. This is not made clear when you browse online

I ordered a jacket and fleece which I was in two minds about. The jacket has been cancelled but I can't cancel the fleece which I now don't want as with the full postage costs it's not really such a good deal. Very frustrating that changes can't be made to orders like they can with Amazon for example.

I'm confused & possibly slightly concerned....I ordered my 3 pairs plus another doodah for DS hours ago (11.09 according to their site).....I had an email from PayPal at the time to say that I'd authorised a payment to Field & Trek, but no payment had been taken, and wouldn't be until F&T had processed my order.....I have heard nothing...on checking my order history on the website it states it is a new order, but that an email has been sent.....not to me it hasn't!

Has anyone else found this?

Getting thru to them is tortuous Clare.......a friend was trying to find out the length of sleeve for a coat....she was on hold at no 6 in the queue for ages and gave up in the end, whilst I tried 3 different branches to get the staff to measure a real coat....local branch hung up twice before I even spoke to anyone, and was so offhand as to be rude (our kids wouldn't have got away with it  ), she got a very sarcastic "thank you soooo much for your help", "oh, um, err, thanks bye "......2nd shop, lovely man, excellent manner, couldn't help but suggested I rang Covent Garden, much bigger store..........OMG.....six and a half minutes of ringing before the automated message "the number you have called has not been answered"...... No, you don't say  .....TWICE :shock: ......customers service ain't their strong point methinks

Sorry, wasn't meant to be a rant! Just kind of fell out that way
