Purplemaniacs
Just seen the last British archer go out. That's a real shame but I was enjoying watching them in it. It was a shame, he shot well, but not well enough It has been great to see archery on tv. Chrissie

BarbaraJ
i don't watch a lot of sport but love the Olympics watched all the swimming, some diving , most of the gymnastics and odd bits of other sports. Am looking forward to lots of athletics next week on my week off Loved the opening ceremony more than i thought i would and was/am proud to be british! loved the James Bond moment and i think Mr Bean was there as he is loved in so many countries. Paul M was a bit cringe worthy though
patsylabrador
I missed the sport today. I had to stop watching the Ladies' Triathlon, mainly because I had to go out but also because it was dreadful watching those girls sliding across the tarmac in just swimsuits. The roads were greasy and there were so many falls. I wanted them to get treatment but of course they clambered on their bikes and carried on. They were brave. Catching up with all the sports news now. Looking good. Did anyone see the huge judo player, I can't remember exactly but his weight is something like 6st heavier than the entire Japanese ladies' gymnastics team. Lavenders_Blue
I was glued to the triathlon this morning too, but sadly had to go out before it finished. What a shame we didn't end up with a medal, but our girls were brilliant anyway. I also had sympathy pains for those poor girls sliding across the tarmac, did you see the close up shot of the Brazilian triathlete with the grazes all across her back? It looked so, so sore.
