Hope everyone is ok...we are fine...smallies big as or bigger than me...feathers numbers have risen & fallen...furries have stayed the same....

Currently chasing round like an idiot after biggest smallie who is in Challenge mode again....this time swimming the Channel as No2 in a relay team of 6 between 1-9 July! Whatever happened to a sponsored silence for heaven's sake?!

Good cause as ever, Teenage Cancer Trust....very proud mummy :anxious::clap:

Just popping in to say hi, so you lot don't think the worst has happened. I'm on the forum more in the colder months. This time of year, there is lots to be done outdoors. I love playing hose pipe ' showers' with my piggies at the moment  You'll find me planting out veg & flowers & shooing chickens out of the way of delivery vans. he he. I still have my normal work to do, as well as running the smallholding. Oh & I'm also training as a nail tech at the min too ( bit of a creative side line), so I only pop into the forum as & when for now. I'm still here!

I miss you Emma though you do pop up on FB :D

Hello, nice to see your cake again

Don't you mean cake hole  Hello Cooks :)

Got it right there Plum!:whistle::lol:

I'm not dead yet either! Or perhaps I'm just a perfect little

So what have I been up to recently? Went to Mull again and had the most fabulous time. And already booked next year! So no more I'll believe it when I see it because it's done and dusted. Now just to work on the old house to sell up. The boy came back temporarily and is still hear nearly a year! Just as I'd turned his room into my quilting studio. I cry when I see the state of my hard fought for creamy yellow velvet carpet - now grey - and he takes his shoes off at the door! So he helped me get a lot of fabrics out and I've been doing a cathedral quilt because I was getting withdrawal symptoms. Yes Plum I will take a piccy when I've done this section for you! The house is gradually getting in order and we had a lot of building work done inside and just by rearranging the set up of the stairs makes the house look bigger. Tackling the garden now - hoping to have a new patio done. Gradually pushing the girls back to the bottom of the garden so we can reclaim a good section and have that all looking good too. Still intend to have the smallholding and at last OH is now in that eager frame of mind and it looks like Hereford here we come. Preferably while I actually do have breath to spare!

Weird though how all our little boys and girls are now all grown up and embarking on careers of their own. So very pleased to see Lewis in his vet gear on FB. *sniffs our boy is doing so well sniff sniff* and our little Scramble (now was that JJ or little Em?), Fred, Tom, JJ, Josh - all young adults now. You little rotters making me feel old! :boohoo::shameonu::boohoo:

Said goodbye to the last of our orpies last year, leaving only one of Egg Lou's babes being the oldest of the girls - . Still have our two hatchlings who are now 5. After missing the whingeing I now have a young gold laced Orpie and a loopy wheaten Maran (lovely brown eggs).

Dunno about the funniest thing on here - there have been so many that made my sides ache. Probably the one that drew a lot of us all together was the thread killer and we all wanted the last word and it kept going for ages - it was a case of anything goes and was absolutely bonkers. Another one was that neverending story which I guess ended somewhere along the line, but that cracked me up no end!!
