I have to agree, I won't miss Victoria, I don't think that they tried in the dance off, they had both had enough, Brendan really worked hard with her but she had no musicality or balance which seems strange for a cyclist, I would have thought that balance came with the territory :? I found it hard to warm to her too, whereas a couple of the others have really won me over.

Dani was excellent as were Kimberley and Denise, her dance at the end was captivating. I do wonder if Denise was unwell on Saturday, either that or she was very nervous. It is really starting to matter to all of them now.

Just wanted to say that we (dd and I ) cried when Nicky went tonight...Such a gentleman, he tried so hard and had improved so much but it was of course the right result against Denise. Still shocked though that the dance off was against Denise and still can't see why the judges aren't much harder with Lisa who is awful in my opinion..We had thought that this week it might have been Lisa to go and next week Nicky or the other way round! I thought Kimberley was fantastic this week (and I don't even like her!) but don't have a strong favourite for the winner...I think they are all very good and would be happy to see any of them win..

I too feel that Lisa should have gone this week, she has not progressed, but Nicky has. She has a very strong voting audience. I do admire her but she has reached her level now I feel. I think that I am going to struggle to choose a favourite from those left. Should be a cracking semi final and final 8)

I agree. Was also astonished at the choice for the dance off, but then they've had a pattern lately of having one bad and one good pair in the clincher, so perhaps it shouldn't have been a surprise.

Every Saturday night I am astounded when the judges say nothing to Lisa about her technique. The only time they have criticised her was in the rhumba and then they just said it wasn't her dance. She makes awful mistakes that even I can see and I know nothing about dance. Yet they pull other dancers completely apart or pick up on minor points. :wall: My OH laughs as it winds me up so much.

I'll be really frustrated if a better dancer goes out instead of Lisa. I'm not too bothered who wins out of the rest of them.

You're not alone! OH and I say the same thing every week

Totally agree with all of the above. Lisa was great in week one... but since then, she has barely progressed whilst the others have all come on in leaps and bounds. It's now time for her to leave the competition. I don't think Nicky would have made it to the final, but I do like to see people leave in (what I think!) is the right and proper order.

Couldn't agree more. By this stage in the competition it really has to be about the standard and the progress they are making. Nicky was very gracious although I wasn't a huge fan, and he had progressed massively. Everyone I speak to at work seems to love Lisa and votes for her even though they agree she is not the best dancer

I usually have a standout favourite but don't this year although I think Dani has been amazing throughout and is given much less publicity than any of the others. Kimberley was superb on Saturday and they all seem very grounded and appreciative.

Do we know whether the judges have a say next week? If there is a dance off let's just hope LIsa is in it as she will definitely go....but it's fantastic family entertainment. Even my husband, who is not a fan of the dancing, enjoys watching Bruno! :D

I couldn't agree more about Lisa. It is time for her to go, and has been for some time. I really hope that she goes this weekend - all the others are much better dancers and it would be very unfair if one of them lost out to her.

I'm really sorry that Nicky has gone, he was lovely.

I did wonder who was voting for her, but then I found that she is my SIL's favourite too. I found her celebration when she found out she was staying in a bit OTT, but then somebody I know has met her and says that she is just the same in real life.

I would like Louis to win - I thought the judges went the other way with him and were over-critical.

I like Louis too, but I can understand that people don't think he 'performs' enough. I think technically he has been brilliant. I think he's quite reserved come Saturday night (doesn't seem to show his character from training). I have been voting occasionally for him & Kimberly. :D

I wish Lisa had gone this week and think Nicky would have been about due to go out next week.

They were gorgeous, weren't they?

Much as I love Lisa and her radiation of enthusiasm and joy, she's not as good technically as the others, and at this stage of the competition, she really ought to be; it would be a travesty if the public vote got her through and one of the others left. Having said that, I will really miss her on the show; her personality reminds me of our own Moochoo... always grinning and full of fun.

Great show tonight with the exception of Lisa, I thought her dress and first dance was just awful. Louis didn't have such a great night either.

For me the best of the night was Kimberly, loved both of her dances (not sure the last was worthy of a 40 though). I think I would love her to win. :D She seems to have really improved in recent weeks.
