Other posters lists:

Ah that's really cute :D

TBH though it looks a bit like our shopping list........................we have 'nick names' for things and put them on the list rather than write out the 'proper' names :lol:

Our current list reads.....

Boonies

Beana

Shrooms

Chesny

Na-na's

Yog-yog's

Creamo

Crips's

We are adults.......honest!

Trolls are a regular feature on our lists :-)

you forgot the boggies.

that is bog rolls.

loo rolls.

doh never mind.

my norfolk based friends think that im being obscene but where i came from they were always referred to as that.

Rosie refers to body lotion as 'Guk'

That brings back memories of getting my children to write my lists for me and add on their own sometimes strange requests.

My list are pretty boring, we usually have a running list on a pad that everyone can add to, but "Ooops, word censored!"ody can read anyone's handwriting in this house so it makes for some interesting puzzles in the supermarket

Years ago my mum asked dad to add Elastoplast on the shopping list. So they went to the supermarket and she couldn't find this particular item. As soon as she said "do you have any Elastical plastical" she realised what she'd said too late. The woman gave her a funny look and my dad cracked up.

Sometimes I let Nat (7) write the shopping list, which is usually interesting, but it generally evolves over the week. It often includes:

Kiffs - crisps

Bogo - loo cleaner

Farty tins - baked beans

Hairy lipped squid - washing up liquid (any brand!)

Whinging beer - ginger beer

Big lemons - melons

Parsley nipples - parsnips

Chocolate butter - Nutella or similar

Chocolate breadsticks - chocolate fingers

Squeezy tomato - tomato puree tube

Suggestive biscuits - digestive biscuits

And there are others that I could not possibly mention before the watershed - I only hope that no-one finds my discarded shopping list with those on!!!!:shock:

It's usually referred to on my list as antiunderarmpong - OH just puts down deo. How boring he has no imagination.

DD will sneak on "eis essen bitte" ever since she did German at school. In fact I get the verbal most evenings while sitting in the armchair. Currently means Magnum Gold or Ben and Jerry's Oh My Apple Pie.

Its occuring to me that channel 4 may want to turn this into a tele prog/game show where 'celebs' (poss bb rejects!!?) could do an Omleteer's weeks shopping with an 'encrypted' list with points for items correctly guessed from the aforesaid Omleteer's list. Or maybe I should just get out more (but NOT to the supermarket!)
