Mindless slaughter

Recommended Posts

In Sheffield we are lucky enough to have Heeley City Farm. See here

It is a lovely little oasis in a busy city.

Last night a gang of unspeakable &*%£^&**'s broke in, vandalised the place and slaughtered 13 tiny piglets who were only hours old. Their poor little bodies were mutilated and thrown about the place.

How awful for the staff who were faced with this first thing.

How sad for Nellie the mother.

What a senseless act of mindless cruelty.

I am tempted to say "bring back the birch".

It's the state of the nation unfortunately, i read a book by a criminal psychologist (very depressing) He said that today's torturers of innocent creatures are tomorrows serial killers. Not all children who are cruel to animals turn out to be serial killers, but 100% of serial killers have a history of torturing innocent creatures.

Sobering thought!

I agree with Egluntine bring back the birch and do the do gooders with it first!

Edit: I meant second!

Kev.

:evil::evil::evil:

There is a video on mobile phones that is being passed around by bluetooth.

Some mindless thugs break into a farm, batter the pig, then cut it's head off with a chainsaw, it's kicking away due to nerve reactions and they're booting it's head around and laughing.

"Ooops, word censored!"ing idiots!

...Here... is the report from last nights paper.

It now looks as if only three were butchered on the site, the rest have vanished.

There is a video of one of the workers talking about the incident, and as she says, they are so tiny that they will die anyway without their mother.

Martin's point about bluetooth is interesting.....I wonder if this incident will start doing the rounds.

 I won't even try to put my thoughts into words. Totally sickening :(

The comment about murderers was interesting - the One show had a guy on promoting stab/cut proof hoodies last night, due to rise in Knife crime. Again I echo the sentiment - what is the UK coming too :?: , be safer in New York nowadays me thinks :? .

Why oh Why - but it is parental responsibility in :?: too - not that they give a stuff either.

This sort of thing upsets me so much. I can't even begin to understand the minds of people who would do this sort of thing (thank goodness). I read this on the BBC website this morning and it is the sort of thing that will play in my mind for days now. Every time I think of it, it turns my stomach.

Unfortunately, if people can get away with torturing people (either mentally or physically) with no real penalty, then the poor animals have no chance. Until we have laws that properly deal with people like this (whether it be longer jails sentences or a spell in a boot camp or similar) then this sort of mindless and horrible violence will continue. I'm all for rehabilitation, but there must also be a consequence to actions.

I'm horrified and very VERY ANGRY.

With pathetic sentences and keeping "minor" criminals out of jail...is it any wonder this sort of thing happens......there is no meaningful deterrent.

People are kicked to death for remonstrating with rowdy youths.

Someone was beaten to death for rebuking a litter lout.

The world has gone mad.

I'm beginning to think there is a lot to be said for Sharia law.

I've only just seen this and am stunned by the mindless cruelty. The sow must be grieving badly for her litter too. I am nearly in tears typing this.....

Without wanting to deflect anything away from this incident...I've been having a rant myself about other stupid items in the news. I see that two convicted paedophiles are on the loose after escaping from a bail hostel, where they were staying after being released from prison. Police are saying that they pose a 'real threat to the public, especially children'... why on earth were they released in the first place???!!!
