soapdragon
Yup, def that time of year again OH and the boys were looking at the site earlier and there is an 'advent calender' of games...one more added each day until kick off. I think there are other activities on there too but didn't really get a look in We discovered this about 4 years ago and now Christmas Eve just wouldn't be the same without it! The boys take great delight in checking every 15 mins or so to see how hard poor Santa is working!

Old Speckled Hen
There's this too For the attention of all PARENTS of young children: On 24th December at just before 6pm, the International Space Station will make a pass over the UK, lasting for about 3 minutes. Clouds allowing, the pass will be bright and clear. For the attention of all young CHILDREN: On 24th December at just before 6pm you will be able to see Santa's sleigh flying through the sky. Good stuff eh?

OH does too, he thinks Santa decides what to buy, purchase said gifts, wrap and pop under the tree, he thinks Santa orders the turkey, gammon and all the veggies then line's up at the collection point like lemmings in marks and Spencer's at 8am on christams eve on the way to work.....everything appears like magic....Santa does exist doesn't he honey

Good stuff eh? If you leave it that late you'll miss him. Look south west at 5:24 PM to be more precise - he'll be visible for about 4 minutes from then as he climbs into the sky; then again at 7:00 PM for the next lap around (second pass is much lower and less visible).
