Luvachicken
I know I have mentioned the C word really, really early but I just needed a little something to do and I thought organising the Christmas swap would be a good idea, if "Ooops, word censored!"ody minds me doing it. I had my frozen shoulder operated on last Monday and now feel a bit better, with the rest of this week off, to catch up with my omlet friends. Resting has seen me think quite a lot about Christmas and wondering who would make what and having been taken out for soup at the weekend I saw that the garden centre had already cordoned off their area for Christmas, so I can't be thinking too early. On the list so far luvachicken Plum Cat tails Valkyrie Jennifer Jane chuckmum6 kinsk bluekarin Olly JellyBean2605 Space Chick Egluntyne Edited January 3, 2016 by Guest

Luvachicken
Gosh, thanks everyone I was expecting to be told off for thinking about it so early I know I make a list of everyone and keep adding those who want to take part and then tell you all your swappees but I don't know how to put the rules up or anything technical like that - don't worry though because I can do the PM part. Do I come up with a close by date and then check it is ok with everyone ? And a date for sending etc ..... Luvachicken
Thank you very much Egluntyne for posting the swap guidelines. I will pop to the post office to find out what the last posting dates are for here and abroad, now that I am allowed out and about, and also back to work tomorrow too. Valkyrie you would be impressed with my arm now, well a little bit anyway. I wonder what you will make with all that thread Christmas is coming ........ Luvachicken
I have added you to the list bluekarin The last posting dates for the UK are 19th Dec and 18th Dec to the Netherlands, so I thought the last posting date for our parcels should be 11th Dec giving us plenty of time to get things made and sent. Cat tails, I can only seem to find last posting dates from the UK not from the Netherlands, does the 11th fit in with you ? It would be a good idea to get proof of postage when you send the parcel and if you could all let me know when you have posted and received your parcels that would be really helpful. I will ask for your addresses at a later date .......
Cat tails
We don't really have something like a latest posting date. But it is said that it will take between 2 - 4 working days to get a package to the UK. So with the 11th of December it should give me enough time. Luvachicken
I was wondering if we should have a cut off date for Omleteers to join the Christmas swap ? I was thinking the 31st October, that way I can send all swap details on 1st November and that should give us all plenty of time to make and send. What do you all think ?
