Luvachicken
Our snow looked really good but I think it must have rained slightly on top as there was not much left this morning. The roads weren't too bad and the pavements were relatively OK although crossing between side roads wasn't so pleasant. My walk to work was freezing and the wind coming down my road to my house was even worse when I came home. Lovely and sunny though.
mullethunter
Gavclojak that looks lovely. Just dustings over the tops of the moors here.
Cat tails
Was driving home in an absolute snow storm tonight! On my motorcycle.... started raining when I got closer to home (discovered that my motorcycle pants aren't waterproof anymore...)

Charlottechicken
Luckily it was on the way home. Thank goodness! Judging by what I was s"Ooops, word censored!"ing off the car this morning we had a good frost followed by some very dry fluffy snow last night Not much but enough to cover everything thinly, and it melted on the ground. Blackrocksrock
Cleaned my car but not the roof of the 3 inches there frozen so when I stopped at the roundabout in town about 18 miles away the whole roof snow fell on the windscreen - was a very scary moment and luckily I had to stop a bit for cars coming so could get the wipers to clear it! Geoid
No snow here, just frosted up windscreens in the morning!
ubereglu
Snowed overnight on Thursday, and was all gone by around 11am, and was very, very windy. Now it's milder, but quite wet, and forecast to rain all day tomorrow-how tedious!
soapdragon
Snowed overnight on Thursday, and was all gone by around 11am, and was very, very windy. Now it's milder, but quite wet, and forecast to rain all day tomorrow-how tedious! Same here in south Oxfordshire. No more snow just lots of rain tomorrow....something of a non event! The sledges stay in the garage until next year, I think
chickencam
Just looked at the forecast for the coming week and it looked like someone has copied and pasted dark cloud and 6 degrees for each day. The sort of January days that give winter a bad name
ubereglu
Well yesterday was definitely not as grim and wet as forecast, although mostly grey and drizzly. I decided I'd feel bad being somewhere new to me without exploring, so being an NT member went on a visit to Attingham Park, walking through both the wood and deer park-wellies were definitely essential!
