chickencam Posted January 26, 2018 Author Share Posted January 26, 2018 Last chemotherapy session was done on Wednesday and so far I don’t feel too bad. Such a good feeling to know that part is done! I got to ring the bell and even got a certificate, loads of staff and patients cheered and wished me well My Herceptin injections start on the 16th February, could still be a few unpleasant side effects from those but apparently they lessen after the first couple which is good be because I have 18 of those to have every 3 weeks for the next year! Radiotherapy starts on 26th February for 4 weeks. Hopefully we can sneak a few days away before radiotherapy starts think we’ve earned some down time and enjoyment! chickencam Posted January 30, 2018 Author Share Posted January 30, 2018 I have to go every 3 weeks still the the oncology centre but it’s an injection into my thigh which takes about 5 minutes.
