atsw 18 Posted July 9, 2020 ‘Little Bit’ has reached the grand old age of 5 weeks and 3 days. I’m now pretty sure I have a girl.
SeramaSilly 53 Posted July 9, 2020 Oh she's lovely - did you say she's an araucana? She's got a very serious look which is really sweet!

soapdragon 542 Posted July 10, 2020 It looks as though she is very attached to the bigger chicken - really sweet!
mullethunter 507 Posted July 14, 2020 atsw I have 3 week old araucanas. What would I be looking for to sex them? Only ever had pekins, Wyandotte’s and campine chicks before and they were all easy!
atsw 18 Posted July 14, 2020 This is my first Araucana Chick, I’ve had Pekins and Polands before, and as you say, they are easy. For “little bit” she is not showing the usual signs of male behaviour and does not have any sign of a comb forming (coming up to 7 weeks now). So I’m hopeful it’s a girl, but I’m no expert.
