My DD bought me a ceramic chicken too - sounds similar to Faberge's one. It has springs at the top of it's legs and it sways when you push it. Ana's flock Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 The universe sent me 4 gorgeous hens via a 'fellowess' member - and I'm treating myself to a couple of chicken books you've mentioned in this thread. DH was away on business and the boys couldn't get hold of him to 'advise' him on what presents to get mummy so I got some very pretty silk scarves and a bottle of No5 (my usual going-out perfume) - nothing chicken or arty but a nice thought though ... I also got a wire chicken egg basket (Although my egg skelter will be holding all my eggs instead ) and a chicken 'cluck-coo' clock!! It's fab as the 'birdy' is a little chicken that pops out! Chicken mug x2 Some lovely stained glass chickens to hang on your window from www.countyourchickens.co.uk which came in straw with a feather ah. and gave my husband an egg poacher.
