little chickadee Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 Good Luck Liz. The exams can be a bit scary beforehand, but most of the examiners are really nice and will put you at your ease. I've been through loads of these and never had a nasty examiner. My Grade 5 piano went so badly that I actually cried in the exam, but I still passed by 1 mark!! (never been so shocked in my life!!) I sing now, but don't really read music very well. It's on my 'to do' list for when I retire! Hope it goes well, fingers crossed but if you've practised it lots you'll be fine. I really admire people who can play keyboards - I tried it but I could never convince my right hand that it had to do something different from my left, I always ended up doing the same thing with both!!
