Ziggy
Hemcore, steam cleaner, egg skelter and the book 'The kite Runner' Sent the cheque for the egg skelter yesterday, after emailing them to see if they still had any, and found their 'oh yes we made some more' reply quite funny .... Just through this forum they must have had a huge demand!!! Hadn't thought of buying one cause I didn't 'need' one, but then instead of storing the eggs in the spare fridge (away from the kitchen to protect them from the one year old when she raids the kitchen fridge), I decided I wanted some in the kitchen, to be kept for easy grab and at room temperature... obviously the egg skelter then became an 'absolute necessity'... It like the design of it, not fussy, yet looking good...

superjules
Where to start? Aside from all the chicken supplements, etc. I've been talked into buying Yankee candles, tubtrugs, more crocs, pressure washer, etc. I'm going to order an egg skelter today and my lakeland shopping basket contains a roomba and an actifry. You lot are a bad influence and I'm easily led!
Staffordmum
yes lots including the Roomba and egg skelter Hello again Laura, tell me about the Roomba. Is it worth the money? Sounds like a great idea though with a dog and a long haired cat am not sure it would cope. Do all chicken keepers have so many time saving devices I wonder? Laura & CTB
[Hello again Laura, tell me about the Roomba. Is it worth the money? Sounds like a great idea though with a dog and a long haired cat am not sure it would cope. Pat & Steve Oooh yes worth every penny I have a fluffy (constantly moulting) cat and I myself have very long hair so I was quite worried about getting the brushes all tangled up but they dont - I just give them a quick clean with the cleaning thingy provided (takes about 10 seconds)and empty the tray (3 seconds). I had to do this once after the first cleaning cycle but now it seems fine to leave it two or three goes. I love having the extra time to do things! There are now quite a few happy Roomba owning Omleteers

Ziggy
What I really want is a roomba-steam cleaner hybrid that climbs on chairs and sofas and hoovers and cleans them all by itself... not that I'm demanding of course... Oh, I already had a mooncup, but for those who don't know what it is, there is a long thread about it in the green section on this forum, and information can be found at www.mooncup.co.uk. Charlottechicken
Two people have voted no All of the suggestions on this site have been interesting, never useless things. I can manage without most but have succumbed happily to the ones which will fit with my lifestyle. And of course, they have all been 'road tested' too
Shirl
I said yes but the only thing I've bought was a steam cleaner and I took that back but then I didn't buy the one everyone else did so maybe that's why I didn't think it was much cop. I would like an egg skelter but am too lazy to post a cheque I am serioulsy considering a Roomba but can't decide on which model
Lesley
Two people have voted no ....but they're obviously too scared to reveal themselves..... Ziggy
Maybe the people who voted no are still quite new to the forum and the 'no' actually means 'not yet'

Clash City Rocker
Practical Poultry (once) It's not for me. When I first joined the forum there was a thread about 80's pop music and because of the thread I bought a "Kane Gang" album and an "Animal Magnet" 12inch single (both on vinyl) off ebay because it had reminded of a few songs which I couldn't find on downloads.
