Ah but you are still young enough to suffer for fashion Eventually you will realise that comfort should win hands down every time!
Tina C
Oh don't, you will get someone started - is it Richard that always likes to say such things about Crocs? We have not had a Croc bashing thread for a while! I don't own any Crocs but I have nothing against them. I have pretend ones for the garden/beach but my bunions don't like the real thing at all. Imo
Ah but you are still young enough to suffer for fashion Eventually you will realise that comfort should win hands down every time! I like to think fashion and comfort can go hand in hand, maybe not all the time Ahh well, the blender comment was after someone did just that on youtube! I have to say, they look incredibly satisfying to cut up
Imo
Ahem.... just went on the crocs website, to discover some croc fanatics wore them from their wedding Even you croc lovers out there must think that's a bridge too far?!
Chickvic
I wanted to wear white doc martins for my wedding and couldn't get any! Have to confess I've just bought my first pair of crocs (stone coloured) and they're very comfy! Spent the weekend in them!
Christian
I got a new dark blue pair in the post yesterday!
Imo
One thing I'll say in their favour is they have a lot of colours to choose from. Plus, I understand their benefits as they're non slip, and they're meant to be very good for back problems. But still I just wish they were prettier! Each to their own!! Tessa the Duchess
I am totally with you Imogen. I can't stand them clumpy and plastic! I think they look really cool on under fives, otherwise nooooooooo. Tessa
lisaroo2
I've lived incomplete ignorance about crocs. It wasn't until I started reading some of the posts here that I learnt what they are. Hadn't even seen a pair until today and can't say that I was that impressed either. Give me a pair of ballet slipper type shoes to wear anyday. So sorry, I'm not a crocs fan... Couldn't have put it better myself . I don't do sandals generally, I like my socks and trainers I'm afraid (not very girly but then I'm not ). Do your feet not get sweaty and slip about inside them? MadMitch
I'm with you too....don't like them at all. Do like my Teva's though and alot of people don't like them
pbfhpunk
they have fleece line dones in NY - maybe here don't know - I'm guessing so you can wear them in all weather. Helen
Imo
I've seen the fleeced ones here in UK.... don't even get me started on those!!
Cinnamon
Now you see,I actually like the way they look That said,I only wear them with long, long flarey jeans, which do cover them up a lot For the summer I wear the flip flops, which are amazing & look like usual ones. And the more dainty little shoe type ones look fab too. Oh, & I do have the furry Crocs (Mammoths),but just in plain black
Ziggy
I don't like them either... to me they are like pink jelly sandals, fine for a toddler, but I wouldn't be seen dead in them...
rachel19
I totally agree - they remind me of jelly shoes and i hate them!!!! I much prefer flip flops and could walk miles in them as they're so comfy!
missuscluck
I, personaly would not be seen dead in a pair. I think they look awfull. They make your feet look huge. When I first saw them at a show on a stall, the man was insistant that they were the next big thing. I remember thinking, dream on!! My daughter however loves hers. Lesley
I love mine - and they are the only shoes I can walk properly in. I have the flip-flops as well now. My grandchildren both wear them, but my grown-up children don't like them and nor does my Mother..... so you're not alone Imogen
..lay a little egg for me
I am totally with you Imogen. I can't stand them clumpy and plastic!I think they look really cool on under fives, otherwise nooooooooo. Tessa Me too! I would consider them for the beach but not every day for sure. Might be good for my son who has v sweaty feet but he insists on wearing football boots/trainers all the time (hence the sweaty feet)! Guest
I just wish I could fine comfortable shoes for my weird feet full stop! Tried crocs but they're too wide and not comfy at all for my feet. I wouldn't care what they looked like as long as they were comfy
Ain't Nobody Here
That's why I wear trainers all the time (luckily I don't have sweaty feet ) as I don't find anything else remotely comfortable. I hate shoes that won't stay on your feet unless they fit tightly - which is then uncomfortable. I also get cold feet so like my socks. craftyhunnypie
We have lost count of all the crocs we have! We just live in them. I bet we have a pair to go with every outfit. I had a pair of grape caymans & mango baya's arrive on Saturday. Oh & a pair of sea blue baya's for hubby. Next pair will probably be some adara's or grape mary janes. We just can't get enough of them, especially when caravanning. If they get muddy, we can just shower them off. They are good for going in showers in on campsites or round pools. You never know if anyone with a verruca has been around. yuk! They were great on the beach at Anglesey, the sand just sifted through them. But best of all they are very fetching when worn with pyjamas to let the chickens out in the morning! Emma.x
