Yolky
Why can't people reply to party invites. I have the invites out for my sons birthday 2 weeks ago, his party is this sat and a third of the people haven't replied. It is a tear off slip so not like rocket science and also I added my number so they could call for ease. I invited extra as usually some cannot come but if they all come I have to pay for each child and so I need to know. Grrrrrrrrrrr. I think it is rude. I know that some may have a valid reason for not replying but surey not all of them. *rant of the day*
Cinnamon
Yes,that really bugs me too. And I hate having to chase them up to ask if little Tommy will be attending or not Other things that annoy me - Drivers who don't nod/smile/wave when you have let them through Sales assistant who insist on keeping up a conversation with a collegue while serving you Having to sit through 40 minutes of ads before a movie at the cinema Sales assistants 'offering' you a bar of choccy or whatever for half price when you buy something Horrid sneery people who diss my choice of car/newspaper/shoes etc...my life - my choice.I really don't care what you think! Just plain bad manners. How hard is it to smile or say thanks if someone opens a door or moves out of your way in an aisle in a supermarket? There are more, but I can't think of them now

Steph101
Sales assistant who insist on keeping up a conversation with a collegue while serving you I agree Hear hear to that one... add to that poor, stony faced service with a stinking attitude while you are handing over good money. My town is bad for that. I'll go elsewhere in the country, nay, the WORLD, and it's the most miserable town you'll come across! Challenge anyone to name a more hostile town.....! Amen to that Cinnamon! Usually they are pseudo intellectuals whose opinion isn't worth a matchstick. No manners re the party invite. They'd be in touch quick enough if their child was missed off the invite list though. Edited July 14, 2008 by Guest
Ain't Nobody Here
How irritating (and rude) . I once had a boy accept an invite but then he didn't turn up (I had to pay for his place anyway ). I agree with all the above, plus: Recorded messages saying "your call is important to us". If it was, they wouldn't put us on hold for ever . chickenanne
People who show not the teeniest tiniest sign of common courtesy. Like, when you hold a door open, or other small politeness, and not only do they not thank you, they don't even acknowledge your existence in any way. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! hils78
middle lane driversmy hubby's loose bits of tobacco over the kitchen table! ...isn't that SOOO annoying?! Chavvy parents who scream "ger eeyo' " (get here) to their tiny toddlers. House work - I keep doing it but it never stays done. People dropping litter. I will confront ANYONE when I see them doing it. People who you see smoking in a car full of young children with the windows closed. Tiny babies with big hoop earings. .....I'm sure I'll keep coming back to add to this!
Valkyrie
My son was organising his 18th birthday which was a trip to Thorpe Park. After assessing how many tickets to buy, late on the eve of his birthday 3 phoned to say they couldn't because of exams on that day. He was well miffed as he had done it weeks in advance and they hadn't bothered to check their exam timetables. One person I knew had a childrens party and hired a hall because 40 children were supposed to be coming - only 15 turned up and the others didn't have the decency to call and say they couldn't go. Cinammon just about sums up most of the other things for me!

Ziggy
s One person I knew had a childrens party and hired a hall because 40 children were supposed to be coming - only 15 turned up and the others didn't have the decency to call and say they couldn't go. That's awful .... not just for the organising parent, but for the child who expected all those friends... (I personally prefer when they concentrate on inviting their good friends, than half the planet, but still, if it's organised for 40 and people don't tell they can't come, it brings huge disappointment)... The party thing is an odd one... I sometimes reply late, cause at times I don't know yet what we'll be doing, but never as late as the day before, it's usually at the beginning of the week when the party is at the weekend... problem is with four daughters we get so many party invites and at times other things happen that we can't confirm weeks in advance... This being said, one of the things on my to-do list before we leave for our holiday, is answering the three party invites we got for August... three of my daughters are summer holiday birthdays, so I understand really well how distressing it can be when people don't bother to reply cause they're too busy with their holidays... What gets me more than middle lane driving, is my OH occasionally pointing to me that I am hogging the middle lane, when he never leaves the fast lane... missuscluck
Yes, ive had that with party invites when mine were smaller. Grrrr. We have been told umpteen times at my kids school not to drive onto the school grounds and there is a hardcore of mums with large posh cars who obviously think this rule is above them and sail onto the school morning and night putting the childrens saftey in jepordy. This drives me potty on a daily basis. Other than that, I'm chilled !!

Joojoo
How many people said that other people annoy them? you can add me to that list as well!! People annoy me just by being people, they don't need to do anything else. I'd much rather spend my days with animals. They love you for who you are (and what treats you've got in your pocket), don't answer back, and don't treat you like you are only there to be at their beck and call!! Right now I've got that off my chest the remainder of my list comprises the following: • Dog poo on pavements • People letting the door go on you when you are walking into a shop • People not saying thank you when you have stood patiently to hold the door for them while they saunter along oblivious • Bad manners • Litter • Rudeness • Tailgating • Lies • Supermarkets not stocking their shelves • Chain text messages • Spiders (cos I can't go to sleep with one in the house ) • This country with it's ever increasing bills, "Ooops, word censored!" weather and governments that just follow their counterparts in foreign climes • People who treat animals badly Those are the ones that spring to mind immediately, so I'll be back to update as and when something else has irritated me This is quite good isn't it? I feel like I should be saying "my name is JooJoo and I am annoyed by..."
