Groovychook
It was raining last night and thought I might have woken up to a milder morning... All frozen solid again & very slippery!!! I had to watch my footing on the walk to the cube first thing, my thigh's still black and blue from last weeks early morning mishap!
BeckyBoo
We have snow (well, about 2mm of it!) but it's enough - the children are all up dressed and outside playing in it as much as they can. I shall expect demands for hot chocolate later, plus lots of freezing red fingers No school til tomorrow hurray! Mrs B
Ardene5
It was raining last night and thought I might have woken up to a milder morning... All frozen solid again & very slippery!!! I had to watch my footing on the walk to the cube first thing, my thigh's still black and blue from last weeks early morning mishap! Hi Everyone We are sorry to learn about your mishap Groovychook last week. We hope that you are better soon. As regards the weather here in Preesall near Blackpool, it was milder last night to start off with and like Groovychook we had some rain, but this morning the cars are covered in frost and frozen rain. It is around freezing at the moment, clear blue skies and a wind so expect a wind clill factor. How is the weather in your neck of the woods wherever in the world you live? Best regards for 2009. Mrs Webmuppet
We have a thin covering of snow too. It's also howling a gale, I can hear the wind whistling down the side of the house. It's jolly cold out there too.
Tiggy
snow and black ice on the roads here in kidderminster
The Dogmother
A light dusting of roughly 1cm here in central Banbury, a much colder wind than the last few days, so it feels colder than it actually is (1deg). The wind is pushing the weather through, so it keeps clearing and then clouding up again. Back at work again today, Rosie has an inset day (all the schools here seem to) so she's at club today and loves it because of the swimming. Phosphorus
We have snow, only an inch and now starting to melt. Girls stood by the foot of their run for ages before venturing out - and then Charlotte had to be out in the snow for a full 10 mins plus before anyone would join her. Cold cold cold. Snowy
Well we had a couple inches of snow when we woke this morning - the boys have spent all day out playing in it! Bliss! Bright sunshine and blue sky all day and it started to get a little slushy underfoot, but now the clouds are over again and we are getting some small flurries. Looks like there will be more overnight!
