Ain't Nobody Here
There are 60 of me (married), 289 (unmarried) and if the name my birth mother gave me hadn't been changed (and I was unmarried!) I'd have been unique .
Plum
105! I used to think I was unique, so when I joined facebook I searched for my name. It came up with about 10 so I contacted them and some had a sense of humour and answered. Now I have friends in America, Canada, Australia, Uk. My other friends think I've cracked up when they see my friends!
Chickvic
There are 13 people who share my name (married) Lucky or unlucky for some? 458 before I was married. 18 of my DD, 209 of my DH and 0 for my son. I always knew he was unique!!
Christian
Only 4 of me Angels4 don't feel that you are common. If the survey was UK based, all of ours would come up as more popular I'm sure. Polite request please, Could you not post your full names or maiden names for security reasons. The forum is open for anyone to read, so best be safe, Thanks

Looney
78 of me - but then my surname is the 20th most common in the US apparently. What is the population of the US? 78 ain't bad! 1 or fewer of OH and 1 or fewer of Bogwoppit We googled Bogwoppit's name and only one thing came up....a book with his name in the title! There was only one copy for sale on the whole of the internet so we bought it. It's a cheesy western and his name is that of the lead character. So funny, especially as we had commented he sounded a bit like a cowboy when we chose his name! (We've also been told he should be a boxer/rocker/biker!!) Valkyrie
I Googled myself a little while ago - not many in my married name, but quite a lot with my maiden name - most of them are Australian and the other was an Americans (the US version of me is a lawyer). Only me in the UK!
Seagazer
Only 1 or fewer of me!! that was with my married name and with my more common maiden name there was still only
MedusA
537 people in the US have my name. Common as muck, me!
Chook n Boo Mum
As I now always introduce myself as an abbreviation of my given name, I am please to announce it it much more exclusive than the name my mum gave me - no surprise if you work it out from my signature!! Only one or fewer "me"s in my shortest, married or unmarried name. As only 99.9% of people carrying my name are female I wonder what the poor child in question's mother was thinking of giving a boy the name of a girl..... Could sit on here for hours logging in other names - must get on though as DS's school has just phoned to say he may be sick & as he's a boarder they are not taking any chances...... oh joy!!! dancing cloud
One or fewer of me apparently Does that mean I'm unique or non-existent ? Definitely a significant philisophical question to be considered in the early hours of the morning and only after large quantities of good food and wine
Valkyrie
Tried the link and still only 1 with my maiden name, but apparently 17 with the married name - and they don't even do Oz!

miffy
There are 8 folk with my full maiden name, but only 1 with my shortened commonly used name , I thought there would be a lot more considering how many Cornish folk emigrated to America! However there are 122 with my married name and shortened christian name. For my sons there are 721, 35, and 4 for their names!! THis is FUN

Olly
I am the one and only I always KNEW I was special I'm not surprised with a name like Olly. Strangely enough, Olly is actually what my family call me - it's a diminutive form of my real name - and I'm the third Olly in my family! My mum, who sadly is now dead, was always called Olly - her name was similar to mine but not the same. And my nephew, who has a masculine version of her name, is also known to friends and family as Olly. Gets confusing at Christmas time, I have to put my 'Sunday' name on the gift tags! I'm still the one and only, though ...

jlo
There is another lady with my exact name at my gym. I found this out when I was having a new programme done with one of the gym staff. He referred to what he thought was my card and set up the machines to see how I had progressed. We couldn't work out why the machines were set up strangely but then I later found out that I am about 8 inches taller than my namesake It has its good side. I often told how good I am at squash (she is a few leagues higher than me!) I do confess that they have the wrong person. They would find out anyway when they played me!
