I've been having a really good old sort out............

Recommended Posts

...of my life, house and emotions........and I've missed you all so much whilst I've been away :( but I feel so much better for it :D :D

Every cupboard, drawer, nook and cranny has been sorted, cleared and organised. The shed, garage and loft have been de-junked. Household paperwork has been streamlined - some might say a little too streamlined ( I only accidently deleted one bank account  ) I've created an area in the garden just for the girls so I can have my garden back when I want it and found a use for the area of garden I gained from the front garden last year - it's going to be my new veg patch.

Been through a bit of an emotional rollercoaster the last couple of months with DD - teenage daughters.........who'd have 'em :wink: Some days have been like a war zone but we're through the worst for the time being and I'm hoping a period of calm is now upon us (fingers and everything else crossed). As I was going through a time of emotional turmoil I thought I might as well deal with all the other emotional 'stuff' I had been avoiding for a very long time.

Looking to the future, I've been thinking about the sort of job I would like and when would be a good time to return to work - what's that I hear you say.......never :lol: I've been looking into a few things, all along the lines of social worker/community based type roles. Far too many thoughts, plans and ideas to put down - but I'll let you know when I've made a few more decisions.

My new girls are here :D :D :D - sorry not a very good pic. I'll take some more soon :D I let the teenagers name them :doh::wink: so here are Attilla the Hen and Egbetina :D I call them Tilly and Betty :wink:note to self..........never let a room full of eggcited teenagers name your chooks

Ada and Fifi my enormous pure breeds, have finally come into lay in the past week :D:dance::D Their eggs are very tiny but I keep telling them they are very clever chooks and asking them nicely if they could manage to lay an egg bigger than those that tiny Millie bantam lays :D:D

That's about all the news for now.......got a few things to post in the freecycle and eglus for sale sections and far too many red arrows to get through :roll:

Gosh Pam, you must be exhausted. I thought I hadn't seen you for a while.

Hope it all comes together as you want it to - and what lovely babies you have there! Yes I often find the children come up with some corkers of names! I've stipulated that the ex-batts are to be flowers or plants....we will see!

I'm meeting up with two other omleteers on Monday in Salisbury, if you like to come with me you'd be very welcome (see the New Forest thread on meet ups section).

Take care hunny, & don't forget to take some "me" time.

Fancy coming round to mine next  .

V, I'm on my way :lol: .......always wanted to visit Edinburgh :D

Forgot to say - if you still have the declutter-bug, my house is turn right out of your drive, turn left at the end......! You'll recognise it when you get here, it's the cluttered one on the right, with chooks & dogs roaming around!:lol:

I'll pop you on the list :D although I might have to de-clutter one of your Labs to my house

WOW!

Do you think your new career could be in helping other people clear out their lives/houses?

Funny you should say that a few of my local friends have asked if I could de clutter their houses ........... I'm not sure if they could cope with the level of de-cluttering I went for - it has been a bit extreme (but at least the local hospice charity shop has benefitted :D )

Hello Pam!

Nice to see you back posting, I do wonder where you disappear off to. I have sent you a PM about some of the FTGH stuff. I need to take a leaf out of your book, I know know what I want to do with my life, but again I do need a sort out and declutter, but funnily enough that isn't going to happen soon because I've got some lovely school work to do and need to get a move on with christmas stuff so I actually spread the cost and don't raid the bank account. Oh well.

Good to hear from you anyway and I love the look of your new girls, am glad to hear you're getting some eggs though, Molly, Muddles and Starlet are all moulting and Spice although moulted isn't likely to come into lay until Springtime now....we're having to buy eggs. :(
