A married couple kept getting huge water bills. They knew beyond a doubt that the bills weren't representative of their actual usage, and no matter how they tried to conserve, the high bills continued.

 

Although they could see nothing wrong, they had everything checked for leaks or problems: the water meter, outdoor pipes, indoor pipes, underground pipes, faucets, toilets, washer, ice maker, etc., all to no avail.

 

One day the wife was sick and stayed home in bed, but kept hearing water running downstairs. She finally got out of her sick bed to investigate, and stumbled onto the cause of the problem.

 

Apparently this was happening all day long when they were not at home.

 

Knowing that few would believe her, she recorded a video of the 'problem':

I got to just over 2 mins of watching & it didn't stop; if it did go on all day, golly no wonder their bill was high!

Our Poppy Puss sits in the bath tub, waiting for me to turn the tap on so she can have a drink :D
