Chucky Mama
I grabbed a carton of Iced Tea out of the cupboard this morning to put in the fridge. I just went and glugged down a mugful only to see blue mould specks around the mug when I had finished It would appear that someone (Mr "Ooops, word censored!"ody) had opened the some time ago and put it back in the cupboard. When I tipped it down the sink there was a huge clotty lump of mouldy liquid at the bottom . I have drunk about 2 pints of water and am now bloated and waiting to be ill
Chickvic
Oh yuck! Hope you are ok and you've diluted anything nasty by drinking lots of water!

Helly Welly
Oh gross! I think i would have been sick straightaway, i've always been the queasy sort. I'd punish the others by making them cook tea, as you are obviously far too ill to do it. I doubt if the guilty party will ever own up so punish them all
Old Speckled Hen
Feign food poisoning, take to your bed or maybe a sunlounger in the garden and demand that somebody else cook tonight and, "oh yes, I could take something a little light like a poached egg with a little smoked salmon" I once threw back a glug of coke from a can only to realise that in the act of swallowing I'd ingested a wasp. I felt it buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz just as it went down but I'd already swallowed and it was too late.

Scramble
Aw, how yukky hope you feel better! x Incidentally, not the most appropriate moment and you proabably never want to hear the words again but; where do you get your iced tea? I've been looking for some for ages used to by twinings iced tea from Tesco but they stopped doing it then tried making my own...disaster

bluekarin
I think Iwould have been sick, or at least retching. It reminds me of when we were at my OH's grandmas and she got out a fresh carton of OJ from the fridge. DS asks what the bits are floating in it and when we look we realise it was mould. I am actually feeling sick just writing about it On to nicer things. . . . . About the iced tea. Is it Lipton who make it?
Charlottechicken
I get mine from Lidl it is ready diluted and comes in a juice type carton. I buy the Lidl one too, very cheap and ready to drink, I think it's a two litre tetra pak. Their cloudy lemonade is really nice, and cheap too Hope you are feeling better now Chucky Mama (safe in the knowledge you will never be ill again, have you thought about a patent )
Valkyrie
EEEEWWWWW. That's awful - fine if you spot it first, but getting to the bottom and then discovering it . . . I do like DA's idea of pretending to be ill. But just try and tell yourself that it wasn't much different to eating blue cheese.

Alis girls
Next time use the tea strainer to catch the bits before you swallow them You will have a very healthy gut full of good and bad bacteria and furry bits
