Hens@HalfMoonLane
I parked up in the car park and a little voice asked why he wasn't going to nursery today. I'd forgotten all about him! When I did then drop him off as we pulled up he said "I don't know what happening to you mum" - he's only 3.

jlo
A friend of mine once drove off leaving her son in the supermarket trolley! It's very easy to get distracted!
Lewis
Family friends were both going out and had a newborn baby only a few days old. They both thought the other one had sorted the baby and so pulled off the drive and the baby was sitting in his car seat by the front door! bluekarin
oops! Bless him for beeing so quiet though! I do remember when we had our ED and we were coming back from doing The Big Shop. It wasn't until we went round a corner near to our house (this was after a few minutes drive) that we realised neither of us had strapped in her car seat I can tell you we never did that again. Our YD was so quiet as a baby we had to make sure we had her with us as I was so sure we'd forget to put her in the car and leave her at home one day. We never did *phew*
Valkyrie
How cute is he?! Brilliant! When OH was a baby, MIL took him to the shops, left him outside the greengrocers in his pram while she bought some veg and went back home on the bus without him. She then had to catch another bus to pick him up - luckily he was still there! Luckily there were more buses to catch as well, because they are few and far between here nowadays! Egluntyne
Him Indoors did this years ago with my daughter. He was particularly cross as that day he had managed to get into his favourite parking spot and had to relinquish it. I once had to call the police when we lived in a village outside Cambridge. We lived close to the shops and folk parked outside the house. One day I went out and there was an abandoned carry cot on the pavement. Closer inspection revealed there was a tiny baby inside it. You can guess the rest. Mum had put the transporter in the boot, but instead of putting the baby plus carrycot in the car first, she had put it on the pavement, gone round the other side of the car and driven away. She'd gone home and made herself a cup of tea before she remembered the baby! :D
Janty
My Dad left me in the bank when I was little. He left me by a small table and I started drawing. Apparently, he paid some money in and then walked home. He said he realised when he got to the top of our road then ran all the way back. Apparently I hadn't even noticed. Seagazer
Oh dear, I can just imagine it. I haven't done it with any of my kids but I did with my old dog. My DD was moving into the junior school which was separate from the infants. She came out to tell me that we could go on a tour of the junior school. I had my dog Sally with me so reluctantly tied her up and went in via the infants, we did the tour and came out via the juniors and walked home. Only when we'd got nearly home did I remember Sally. Dashed back but she had gone , some children had taken her and then let her go. Fortunately someone got hold of her and phoned me. Never again! I can't tell you how long the kids told me they hated me after that
Alis girls
Not the same I know but packed ES who was then 5 and YS a baby in the car with umpteen bags, dropped them at school and childminder and returned to car to a funny smell to find along with bags was a bag containing a pooey nappy which should have gone in dustbin on way to car Us poor mums have too much too think about. I ant multitask for love or money
Woodcat
When i was about three i went with my mother when she had to go to work unexspectedly and she got busy talking and went through a really heavy automaticly shutting door and it shut behind her with me on the wrong side. she carried on down the hall not realising that i was beating on the door eventually one of the security guards found me and took me into his office for chocolate and forgot to tell my mother who was at this point running round trying to work out where she had lost me. we were eventually reunited but not before i'd had so much suger that i bounced of the ceiling for hours. (I was quite a favorite in the security office)

When I picture your son I just picture that hat he was wearing when he came to visit the chooks .
