A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Twelve weeks old. The partridge is called Alan, the lavender is Ceppy Wonton and the black one is Kuro. She is Japanese and the others are pekins. Check out the size difference!

A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Kuro the black one fits in my palm WITH ROOM TO SPARE! She's so tiny it's ridiculous! Ceppy Wonton is proving to be the least shy although they are all still a little nervous as they are so young. Kuro hides behind Alan a lot. Alan looks ready to peck a lot. She's quite shy-flighty. Has anyone noticed their bantams going to bed MUCH earlier than their big hens? And do you know how long bantams live for?
Janty
My bantams go to bed first as they get their favourite positions in the cubes before the big girls get there.
Falkor
My bantams won`t go to bed at all! They insist of sleeping on the highest perch in their run even in the pooring rain! I pop them into the each night but so far they have not gone in there of their own accord. Edited August 15, 2009 by Guest
LaPoule
It took Pernille, my bantam Silkie, 3 weeks to go to bed on her own! During that time, she used to try and sleep behind the wheel of the cube, and I had to crawl in to get her. Bear in mind that my Cube run is 5m long, and you can appreciate why I was so relieved when she FINALLY started putting herself to bed
Scramble
I remember one of mine used to like roosting on the grub My bantams go to bed first as they get their favourite positions in the cubes before the big girls get there. I only have bantams but when one gets that look in her eye...they race inside They both have a favourite corner, you can hear many disgruntled sqeaks and wing flapping Once Yolko sat on Chickpea until she moved Madams
