Space Chick
..... He has just come home from work with some lovely fresh, new season corn on the cob. I told him I had already planned tonights tea. To which he replied "They are not for us they are for the girls, I've also bought them this fruit too" I know my place in our pecking order

I know the feeliing, we have a sick chick and I came in from the garden to find hubby and chick asleep in hubbys armchair awwww Bless him, now that's love. Ain't Nobody Here
My OH doesn't have a lot to do with the girls but he does put the feeders/drinkers out every morning and let them out . I was worried about telling him he'd have to make 2 trips now with the extra feeders but he said he didn't mind at all . I think he secretly quite likes them . chick wiggle
I think as long as you dont try to get them to admit to their love for the girlies they would do anything for them

cathybc
so is that why you had your hair coloured to match Donna's feathers?
cluckingmad
in our house its the way they're so overjoyed to see him... think he gets a kick out of them all running to see him when he comes home And to prove his love for them - when Millie was put to sleep the poor man was in tears (as was I, two chicken-mad softies together )
Scramble
Aw, that is so sweet Chichi is just the same. so is that why you had your hair coloured to match Donna's feathers?
Space Chick
Donna is his favourite out of the 10, because she coo's sweet nothings into his ear, and loves a cuddle. Of course he would never admit to loving a cuddle with Donna, on quite a few occasions I have seen him sat in the garden with Donna on his lap and he's stroking her and chatting away Then when he sees me, he'll say "Off you go then Dons" and will promise he's only just sat down Do you think it'll work my having hair to match? As long as he doesn't find me worms and slugs I think it'll be OK
