(bought especially for them ) You might notice the Orpie girls faces and how red they are... bless them. They were all sleeping in the nestbox last night I couldn't quite believe my eyes two orps, 2 other girlies and one fat bluebelle rammed in the nestbox hole. I took a photo but it was REALLY dark so it didn't show them clearly. Pepsi and Bumble. Pepsi's head is a bit of a blur in her excitement. Flo (Head Chook) Big Girls, Cocoa, Flo and Dory Enjoying THEIR corn Bumble and Pepsi with Their corn. "Have the big girls poinsoned it??" A typical scene when treats are out at the moment.. I think my Rita is dead pretty - I love her blondie highlights round her neck and her white under down (if there is such a term). You can't see it too well in this though. Funny you should mention corn on the cob, my lot have a few tied up in the run at the moment that were bought specially for them Lidls have Fresh Corn on the Cob for 15p each. Needless to say I stocked up. The man at the checkout said to me "It is lovely is Corn on the Cob, you must like it buying that many" to which I replied "yes I love corn on the cob, but I won't be eating these, these are for my pet chickens" He looked at me quizzically and decided to say no more Gelbel, your Rita is Beautiful. My Lohmans don't have any white on them, and they look lovely scratching about in the garden, but I do love Bluebelles, and am missing the flash of lilac/gray frilly knickers...
