It's getting pretty close to the New Year here...9pm & I'm just on my way out to the lake front mardi gras & firweork display in the City centre, but I thought I'd just quickly stop by & wish everyone in Omlet land a very happy , healthy & prosperous New Year.

Like so many others we're wishing for a better 2010 too - this is now our third New Year of saying "well this year has to be better" so fingers crossed firmly it really will be third time lucky.

Happy New Year everyone, like lots of people this year hasn't been too good for us although in some ways the bad things have made us sit back and appreciate what we have and each other.

I definitely echo that sentiment. 2009 started badly, got rapidly worse, and never really picked up again. I hope 2010 is much better for everybody, and possibly involves the acquisition of a couple more chickens.
