Absolutely Gutted!!! sorry Long Rant! **Update**

Recommended Posts

Some of you may rememeber I started a new job in November 08 in a completely different direction to before well in July 09 I was headhunted by the Manager of a different contract but still with the same organisation the post was on a Six Month fixed term contract not permenant as my previous role however I was assured it would be made permenant it was only on fixed term as 2 days were from another employee's materiny leave and that even if she came back my role would be safe He wouldnt ask me to apply and give up my perment contract if there wasent a full time permenant post at the end of the s months Blah blah blah!!!!]

Guess what come Feb 17th 2010 I am out of work :twisted::twisted:

I cannot write how I really feel as this is a family forum I dont think I have cried as much

since my mum died :( I keep bursting into tears on top of that I am having to work out my notice and see the lying cheating manager every day I feel sick from the moment I step imto the office until I leave. I received this bombshell on Wednesday and it has taken me this long before I felt I could even post it

Sorry for the long rant I just felt I needed to share with friends

Sadly Cinnamon no I had no reason having known this manager since I started with the organization to think it was anything other than legitimate offer and especially as he was headhunting me.

You live and learn as they say :( I have just learned the hard way financially more than anything I was on a £22,500 k salary Ouch :!::!::!:

Very sorry to hear it. I would take legal advice on this.

Having studied Employment law and it is also Employment that I work in Egluntyne I dont have a leg to stand on event though Contract law is not my speciality. As Cinnamon asked nothing was in writing, HR did say at the meeting I had a right to appeal :?: against what although I never received a written job offer or Contract If you have worked the same hours for more than six weeks consecutively Under Emp Law it is considered that you have a contract. I am well and truly Stuffed :twisted::evil::twisted:

Unless there are any Lawers out there who know more about contract law than I do :?:

Thanks Guys

I have had lots of time to think about it today whilst super cleaning

the cube and spending time with the girls (chicken Power)

I have gone from feeling helpless to MAD so I intend to put in an appeal with HR as well as making it clear I will if neccessary take it to an Employment Tribunal.

I did it before with my previous employers and won when even solicitors would't touch the case as they said it wasen't winable

I probably wouldn't win but hey Ill go out fighting besides ET's cost employers lots of time and money at least I will have the satisfaction of watcking him squirm

Watch this space

I had an absolutely awful day at work today the Toad called me into is office as he didn’t like I had sent out an email on Friday to the Employment Advisors telling them what the position was that it wouldn’t be worth them sending me any new clients as I won’t be there to work or support them. He didn’t like the tone as he perceived it that I was suggesting it was personal.

Boy did I let him have it both barrels rounding off the conversation with, I was taking it as far as I could with HR and then to the ET if necessary :!::!:

Suck on that
