jellykelly
I collected them from Ben at Hen house poultry at around 10 ish. Ben is amazing, as is his back garden and chooks. He has such a variety and all look wonderful. I couldn't recommend him more! Anyway, I have added some pics to .... www.picturetrail.com/jellykellybelly1 Willemina is the dutch bantam and Meilin and Mulan are the two Pekins. They are about 9 weeks old. I can't remember how old the dutch is so any help there would be nice!!

Redwing
I'd say the Dutch is a little older than the Pekins - maybe about 12-14 weeks old ish

jellykelly
Ahh, Johnny Depp. Yes, what a night that was! The chickens are just gorgeous. They make these sweet little cheeping noises still! I took out some treats earlier, but they ran away from me and hid - I am taking it quite personally. Daphne
Give them time - 9 weeks is barely out of chickhood! And they've just had a big adventure - moving home! Actually, although I sound like Mrs Boring, I wouldn't be too anxious on the treats front. Whilst they're growing up, forming bones and turning fluff into feather, I'd just keep them to the growers as much as possible. One day you'll look back on this and wonder how you used to be able to get out of the house without getting mobbed

Cranfield Kate
soooooooooo pretty! your poor ex-batts though (sorry, i accidentially kept clicking through the album), they look tragic.
jellykelly
The ex batts aren't that bad anymore. We've had them just over a month and they're making really good progress. The one with the shiny bum almost has a full set of fluffy knickers coming through. The other four all have huge purple spikes growing through the bald skin. The papery coating is coming off a few of the spikes, so we're well on the way to getting real feathers!! I can't wait for the spring/summer for them though. Just so they can feel the warm sun on their backs and chase the kids up and down the garden!
