To all oldies & newbies (members I mean not age) Its been sooo long - too long - since I've made the time to write. Returning early from Dubai in Feb, due to family bereavement, so its been a tough time & within a few weeks another significant family member with cancer & all it entails. So, disgracefully all intentions to get back into the forum & its pleasures, just never manage to merge & conspire allowing me to be here.

 

But Today TODAY I thought I must just say Hi, Hope you're all healthy & happy enjoying chooks & all fun associated. I'm unsure who's still aboard but best wishes to all.

 

Hmmm Not used to this new forum/website at all!!! Just tried to post on the forum & it disappeared. I've never entered the 'Nesting Box' but as this posting isn't exactly chicken orientated I thought I'd best write in here rather than be moderated on first post back :)

The mods may be new , maybe new rules & strict authoritarians :)

So I'll hopefully post here, unless of course this one has the same disappearing fate at the previous!!

WOW what a welcome back!!! Didnt even receive such a warm welcome after 5 months in Dubai!!!! :D I'm speechless, didnt think anyone would read the post let alone reply.

Thank you so much, what kindness, what support & what warmth. Thank-you all. It has been sad & tough, but no more or any different to what you/we all experience at different phases & times ... but what does make the difference are the small acts of kindness - THANK YOU. Here's to kindness, friendship & warmth .. all help turn grey skies into blue ... along with mocha coffees & chocolate cake of course :)

Hellooooo Couperwife in Teeside. .frantically waving back yooo hooo style. Hmmm once when Ncle airport was closed, back in the good old days when it closed at 10pm or some ridiculous time :) we had to endure a diversion to Teeside & then coach it back to Ncle :) Hope youre beside the seaside, beside the sea, I went to Marske? hmm bad memory - somewhere like that to see a friend once. Hope the sun is shining in Teesside
