How many TV's...

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Had a discussion with some friends the other day and discovered that I'm the only one who has just one TV in their whole house

I hope there are some other freaks out there who have better things to other than watch TV all day

Oh dear we have 4 and there's only 2 of us...........

Yes us too! When we moved house my aunty gave us some money, which we bought a small TV for the bedroom, we had a large one in the lounge, one is in the caravan and Dave won a 40 inch one, which then replaced the TV in the bedroom (which is sadly never watched now). It was some years ago that he won the TV and it is quite tempremental so I think soon I will be able to have our little TV back.

5

Living room, our bedroom, one each in girls rooms, one in garage for hubby when he is working out there.

Don't worry - we have 5 and there are only the two of us! :D - no  either....I like TV :D

Carl wouldn't mind if there were no TVs so they are all mine.....including the remotes :D

One in the lounge.

One in the conservatory which is only linked up to the video player so that littlies can watch all the old childrens videos we have.

One in the kitchen

One in the bedroom which I only have on for Breakfast News while I'm getting ready in the morning.

One in the office which I only have on while Carl is out with dogs or animals and not whilst he is working in there.

I only watch one at a time so I'm not worried about the number :D - I record a lot of stuff and watch it at odd times so I still get plenty of other things done.

I each in the living room, dining room, kitchen. The dining room one gets used for the wii and xbox mainly. The kids have 1 in their bedroom each, mainly used again for gaming. We have one in our bedroom but I don't think its ever been used. I like watching tv too so am not

we have one and will ever have only one in the house.

I wont have them in the bedrooms, I cant stand the idea of my kiddies having a tv in their rooms, I want to see them, not know they are upstairs lol

My mums exactly the same. Although if I did have a TV in my room it wouldnt have sky plus  so what would be the point of having one! :D

The only trouble with having one TV and sky plus is that we always have a war on who gets to record what: Cycling for my mum, American hotrod for my dad, Wizards of waverly place for my sister and House for me. I always seem to loose :x My mum is also a fanatic deleterer (if thats a word  ) if theres less that 30% memory she deletes everyones things (except her own of course  ) whether we've watched it or not!

We have three, one in each lounge and one in our bedroom. I won't have one in the dining room as I like us to talk and eat not goggle at the telly. My oldest son wants one for Christmas in his room, he will be nearly 12 so I don't mind now. We made a point of waiting until he started Secondary school before he had one in his room, also none of the children have ever asked for one as they just want to play with their lego in their bedrooms - which is just what I want them to do! I don't really understand why children as young as five need tv's in their room - but maybe that is just me.
