whoopsie
Well as show dances go it was very good but Strictly is about showing the traditional dances. I would have preferred to just see her do another amazing tango with Vincent. Roll on the Argentine Tango. That's my favourite. Speaking of show dances - watch this one! http://www.nzwide.com/swanlake.htm
Plum
wow that was amazing, what balance and poise. I loved the upside down leg movement, so graceful. Have you been to see them?
Lavenders_Blue
Wow, I'm not sure anybody's legs should be able to get into those positions And as for balancing on his shoulders and head just on her points.... amazing!
Seagazer
yikes! That's what I call flexible. She was so steady when she was on point on his shoulders and head Very graceful too.
whoopsie
My mum sent me the link yesterday then 'phoned me to make sure I watched it! I'm glad she did!
CallyChook
Well I am looking forwards to tonight's show so much! Tango is my favourite of the ballroom dances, and the charleston is just so much fun. Yay!!
Griffin
A rare treat! I'm not working today so I'm getting to watch Strictly & X Factor from the comfort of my own home "Ooops, word censored!"ody is here to interupt me or make me turn the telly off
Griffin
I don't think Gavin really wants to be there
Plum
Cracking show, loved it all especially Ann wafting through the air.
Charlottechicken
Wafting?? That's very polite
alih
Cracking show! I love both dances and am still so in awe of anyone who has that level of stamina. Pamela is such a class act but for me Matt does it every time. The ease and joy and techincal brilliance are just astonishing! Have just booked tickets for the live show in Feb
Egluntyne
Wafting?? That's very polite She looked like cargo being winched off a ship. I notice that we didn't get to see her extricating herself from the harness. Pamela, Scott and Matt were superb. I wish Felicity would realise that it is a dance competition and not a gurning contest. I find her facial contortions very distracting. It was the best show yet. Seagazer
A brilliant show last night. For me I enjoyed Matt's charleston the most, it just looks effortless for him. His was the only one that kept me enthralled the whole way through. We had to watch Scott's twice as I found the music a bit off putting and I didn't like his partner's dress colour (can't remember what her name is - have a cold so feeling a bit off). I could see it was a really good dance the second time round. Didn't enjoy Pamela's as much, the judges were right her back and neck were doing odd things. We actually didn't think Gavin's dance was too bad (all things considered) I think he does want to be there but just has real trouble showing any emotion. Ann's dance was as usual entertaining but I do think that Peter Shilton should go now as it was just soooooo embarrassing last night. DebC
I wish Felicity would realise that it is a dance competition and not a gurning contest. I find her facial contortions very distracting. My OH is gutted. He used to be a big Felicity Kendal fan. We were watching the One Show on Friday night and she was the guest. He couldn't believe what she looked like. She could hardly move her face for all the Botox!!! The shiny forehead was a real give away. But on the plus side, at least I can say I'm growing old gracefully if he says I have too many wrinkles at any time in the future!
CallyChook
Thank goodness the Shilton is gone! He was really dreadful and I can't say I warmed to him as a person. Even OH found the Widecombe flight amusing, a first for him to like anything strictly. Hurrah for the argentine tango and Flavia doing a remotely normal dance rather than that bondage number from last week! She is one of my favourite dancers, but even for me that rope effort was less than elegant and yet not exciting like a show dance either. Griffin
I always love Vincent & Flavias Argentine Tango. I think it's definitely her best dance and the AT is my favourite of all the dances.
Seagazer
Vincent and Flavia's AT was brilliant, I could have not had the other 2 couples dancing and just watched V and F. Glad Peter has gone, he still thought he'd done ok
sadietoo
As usual I didn't manage to catch all of the programme this week, but saw from Pamela's onwards. I agreed with the judges comments about her neck and arms this week...but my doesn't she look good for her age? Matt was absolutely fantastic, and is my favourite to win...but I also really like Kara. Anne Widdecombe on the other hand..when did she become a national treasure?..sorry guys she needs to go..for once I agree with Craig, and the bottom two should have been Peter and Anne, although I just can't warm to Michelle at all. Her personality (or at least what we see of it) seems a bit like her dancing...sort of stilted. I'm guessing because we know Ian is in if for a few weeks that Michelle gets to stay in again so bets on who will go next?....my money's on Felicity or Gavin. It seems the public can't get enough of Anne
The Dogmother
I am glad that Peter has gone too - he really is dreadful at dancing. Couldn't agree more about Felicity's facial gymnastics, is has been putting me off since week one. Gavin looked like he'd rather be at home eating a bowl of his own toenails than dancing on TV. It's obvious that he and his partner don't get on as well. He or Patsy will be next off I think - the poor girl is overcome with nerves, but seems at last to be enjoying it. Thing is that she has dreadful posture and no uplift
MedusA
Matt Baker all the way for me! His Charleston was inspired. I predict, Matt, S-c-o-tttttttt and Pamela for the final, though I think Kara is underrated and may well be in the mix. Painfully skinny Michelle and Gavin the Plank both deserve to go asap. I think I can tolerate Ann for a few more weeks, if only to see what Anton can possibly come up with next!

Lesley
Worth it tonight just for the Time Warp - even if neither the singing nor the dancing were brilliant! I love the Time Warp
Alis girls
Have to say Gavin, matt and Jimi looked HOT tonight I loved Jimi's eyes and Matt looked sexy with black kohled eyes. Gavin despite being planky is a hunk with a sexy grin. Sorry if not allowed to say S word
The Dogmother
Worth it tonight just for the Time Warp - even if neither the singing nor the dancing were brilliant! I love the Time Warp me too I was teaching Rosie how to do the proper timewarp. Jimi looked dead foxy with those contact lenses in... I have a soft spot for him . Gavin leaves me cold I'm afraid... poor, dim hunk that he is.
alih
Thought Ann was grotesque tonight. Has been hilarious but not any more. Scott was absolutely breathtaking and I am not usually a fan. And as for Cara - WOW! I really like the fact that there is tangible improvement each week for some. Great entertainment as always!
