The Dogmother
No play list here, but the boy earned brownie points this weekend by turning up with The Eagles, Complete Greatest Hits. Double CD, decommissioned from his local library, cost just £1, and has been keeping me singing at work!

Griffin
Another Gordon Lightfoot fan here. I discovered that song when it was played on Trigger Happy TV all those years ago. Still have a massive crush on Dom Joly For the past two days all I've done is listen to Nick Cave. I think today calls for something a bit more cheery. It's fast approaching the 13th anniversary of Michael Hutchence untimely death next month so maybe a bit of INXS. Or some Crowded House. There seems to be an Antipodean theme to my music! Seagazer
Another Gordon Lightfoot fan here. I discovered that song when it was played on Trigger Happy TV all those years ago. Still have a massive crush on Dom Joly Is it wrong that I have a massive crush on Gordon Lightfoot though?? It feels really wrong. I've got him singing If you could read my mind - 1970 version - bookmarked from youtube. I think he looks really lovely there and if you look in his eyes you can tell that the song is so, so personal to him. Its about the break up of his first marriage, he changed some of the words later at the request of his daughter as she felt it was a bit unfair to her mother. Still love it though. Charlottechicken
Do you remember Barclay James Harvest from the 70s, they still sound good - Child of the Universe was theirs and still relevant sadly. I discovered a Barclay James Harvest track on a compilation album I had bought in the 80's. I didn't listen to it until several years later. It was 'Mockingbird' and I still love it now
