our village is lovely when we have snow. Everyone gets out the houses and has fun and does shopping for each other...

 

we had an igloo made in the village last year and my 6ft 5 husband could get in and stand up in the middle.

it also had a window the other side made from sheet ice out the top of a bucket.

That is some igloo!

 

Here are a couple that I took 2 years ago in the park at the bottom of our road - day off work so we built snowmen. I am 5'1", so you can see how big the snowman is.

I thought you might have snow today. Driving home this afternoon I could see snow on the hills to the South and thought of you.

BUT please, please, please if you are wishing for snow can you get it out of the way before Christmas !!! I DO NOT fancy trying to make the journey to Addenbrookes hospital in snow in January - on a good run it takes 40 minutes, in snow....well, I dread to think. This as yet unborn Bogwoppit and it's mother do not want to be snowed in or for baby to arrive by the side of the A10!

I've yet to check on our forecast. Yesterday it said light snow for Friday. If it snows at the Xmas market it will be really really Christmassy.

We are in Devils Bridge for Xmas though - could be fun driving.
