Patricia W
No snow in Abingdon. Just the merest sprinkle this morning - but bitterly, bitterly cold Tricia
Old Speckled Hen
Just a little bit here and it's been gloriously sunny with blue blue skies all day. here's hubby checking the hives AND One of our neighbour's rams giving us the eye when I took the dog out this morning I feel for you lot further north. You're really getting some snow. There's an old yorkshire saying,'Ice in November to bear a duck, the rest of winter nowt but slush and muck'
Omletina Kyckling
We only have about an inch here, but the hill up from my cottage was very slippery this morning. Baby Landy coped with it admirably, or course, but other cars had slipped and slid up the hill, which is very steep!
ali-s
More snow overnight, enough to make me not want to drive to work. OH drove me part of the way but then had to go into work himself after an emergency call. I had to walk the last 1 1/2 miles through a hail stone and snow blizzard, got into work at 7.05am so only 5 minutes late. My face is still stinging from the hail stones. Snow most of the day so left work early. Walked back to the morning dropping off point where DS was waiting for me in his car. We have had a good 6 inches of snow today, it is still snowing. Work again tomorrow with another 7am start. Unless we have a rapid thaw tonight I think I will have to walk the whole 3 miles to work, which means walking down narrow lanes in the dark by myself I hate snow

Old Speckled Hen
Eglu becomes igloo this morning! Hah! at least yours came out. We had an inch or two and they flatly refused to venture out of the run. Got OH to look for eggs and Flash had the screaming ab dabs at him............. never heard a raucous like it. Hubby had a red hat on and I think our Cockerel thought he was a rival bird

The Dogmother
Same as Tricia here, light dusting this morning but VERY bitter wind. A few flurries during the day, especially when i popped up to a friends yard, which is on top of a hill - like Alaska up there. Still no more snow tonight and very clear. -3.4deg here at the moment. Blackrocksrock
Very clear anr -6.5 here at the moment great photos, I feel for those of you snowed in. Keep safe Ali if you have to venture to work tomorrow. Minus 6.5 is ccccold - we reached minus 4.3 but with snow on the ground its not so cold really - I think as the snow is drier that it does not feel so cold outside and no wind at the moment. The tempis now minus1.3 and there was another inch of snow during the night anyway and its really white and beautiful all around but............ I cannot get down the garden past the hens for bent over trees etc!

Chickendoodle
Snowed all day yesterday and very heavily this morning - about 3 inches on the ground. Looking at the weather map the snow is just brushing the very south of East Sussex and Kent

Shirl
No snow here but it's -3 and the ex-batts are back outside after not settling indoors. OH refuses to clear a garage for them after seeing the mess they made indoors. I really don't want it to snow.

Its much warmer when the eglu is covered in snow - it acts as an insulation and they are not so cold - mine were fine down to minus 12 last winter with the door only closed when it was really cold! So hope you get some snow!!
The Dogmother
After some flurries of fine stuff yesterday it just got colder and colder with a very clear night and -5.4deg at 7am, it is now just nudging freezing but is clouding over quickly so we may well get some of the white stuff soon. Just off to walk the dog, so may well come back looking like a snowman! Cleaning out the animals was a task and a half today as there's no outside water at the moment
