AJuff
20th Anniversary coming up and OH is buying me a bracelet!!!!!! Too much choice I like both!!! Any thoughts?
snowberry
I saw the pandora ones the other day & thought how pretty they were, but expensive!
craftyhunnypie
I prefer the Clip on charm type bracelets these days. I was into Pandora big time, but then a lot of ' copies' appeared & it put me off mine. I did buy a 'copy' one to wear everyday & try to keep my Pandora special feeling, but the novelty of having a posh bracelet wore off Lots of choice these days in modern charm bracelets, so choose wisely! Seagazer
I've got 2 pandora bracelets now - very handy for hubby and others to buy presents for me now. I still love mine. My DD has a leather one and ES bought his girlfriend one for her 21st birthday last week. I've got some cheaper Pandora charms on them and also hubby bought me some very expensive charms for our 25th wedding anniversary.
Groovychook
I love Trollbeads! IMHO, the designs are much nicer and the silver isn't as bright as the other brands- it looks less harsh. I find by comparison, that the Pandora charms look very 'bling'.
whoopsie
I got a Pandora bracelet for Christmas and I love it. You can mix and match charms anyway it doesn't matter what brand they are.
BizzyMomma
You can mix and match charms anyway it doesn't matter what brand they are. Absolutely! I have one of each and swap the beads and charms around whenever I fancy a change FWIW?
Alis girls
i have heard of the Pandora but not the trollbeads - name puts me off - must google it.
Yorkshire Pudding
I have a Troll bracelet but both Troll and Pandora charms fit on it. It won't work the other way around as the Pandora chains are too wide for Troll beads. I also have a beautiful Troll necklace so I often wear my charms on that. OH has become a regular at the Troll shop
Janepie33
Definitely Troll ! Pandora fit on Troll but not the other way round. Apparently the guys who designed the beads were friends. They designed Pandora together and then fell out. One of them went off to design Troll and made sure that Pandora would not fit the Troll system (so said the jeweller who sold me my Troll bracelet, necklace and beads). Alis girls
I think of goats when I hear the word "troll" cant think why
Cooks
I have two troll ones and a troll necklace. One bracelet is blank and whites with silver and the other is pastels with silver, love them!
pips_pekins
I have a trollbead bracelet. It took me ages to decide between the different ones. I chose trollbeads in the end because I liked more of their charms and the less shiny finish. I do have one pandora charm though as I wanted a swan. I got a trollbead chicken for Christmas
The Dogmother
I have a troll bead bracelet with 5 or 6 charms on it; it was given to me and I have added a couple of charms. I prefer troll beads and find the Pandora ones too sparkly and bling-y.
redhotchick
Sometimes a bit of bling is what you want? I have started a troll bracelet (not got far) I chose Troll because the beads seemed a bit more whimsical. My sister has a pandora and just got some beautful beads for Christmas. Lesley
As others have said I have a Trollbead bracelet because any of the other beads will fit on it - then you can have bling.....or not....... I managed to find a gold plated bracelet for my sister as she only wears gold and didn't like the silver ones.
Angie
I just love them All and would have a bracelet of each, but alas, due to my arthritis i can't fasten the clasps.....but i can do the Truth catch all by myself and i have a full 8 inch bracelet and a few spares to mix and match, my collection is still growing and i love it. Get which ever you like the most and later buy one of the other ....go for it .
AJuff
Thank you for all your replies. In light of them I went into our local shop today and was met by a very sour faced shop keeper who told me Pandora was better and they sell more of it. When I asked to see the tiny scaled down Trollbead collection hidden in a far corner of the shop window she reluctantly agreed. I had barely focused my eyes on the Trollbeads before she whisked them away. She then very rudely turned away from me and started to deal with a couple next to me, totally ignoring me. After browsing for a few moments longer at the Pandora beads I left the shop in disgust. Appaling service so I will not visit there again. When I spoke to OH he suggested the next nearest shop 5 miles away and off we went. What wonderful service we received! After much deliberation my OH purchased me a Trollbead bracelet and flower lock which they had polished up to a shinier silver rather than the grey look. Two beautiful troll beads and a Pandora silver heart. I feel I have the best of both as I adore the glass trollbeads and I prefer the Pandora silver charms. OH is now making me wait until February 1st our 20th anniversary of meeting before he'll let me wear it!!!!!!!!!! I suppose that gives me time to make a wish list for mother's day, my birthday, easter, wedding anniversary, Christmas . . . . . .
scubababe
Awwww that is lovely. I've looked at them too. I have bought a 'cheaper' version for my SD for her 21st with a watch charm. Thought process being that she can either add or take off what's on there. I would love one but as you although I love Pandora I also love the bling & peeps can add to it for birthdays/anniversary/mothersday etc. plus Pandora is ridiculously expensive Glad you got it sorted in the end
