Duncan08
Me too! Just need the clocks to "spring" forward and all will be well again
The Dogmother
Can you believe that the clocks go forward this coming weekend? I can't wait for the lighter evenings; yesterday it was light enough when I got home from work to take the dogs for a quick sprint around the reservoir. Our evening walks have been restricted to the park and town centre while it has been so dark.
Duncan08
Great news, for some reason I thought it was the weekend after It is lovely to get home in the evening and to have some time to potter around the garden and have a chat with the girls. I tend to walk our Dunc after dark when most of the kids have gone in. He thinks he is one of them, and whilst he is exceptionally good generally, as soon as he sees kids on bikes, scooters or playing football he regresses back to a demon puppy and wants to join in. The Dogmother
I know what you mean; I can't let Cyrus off the lead in our park as he's an expert squirrel catcher, and while neither I nor the park keepers have a problem with this, I don't really want a young child to see Tufty being coursed
lillybettybabs
It's has been beautiful today, I have sewn some grass seed and had a good potter in the garden this afternoon. On the down side the sun is shining through the windows and showing that they need a good clean.

Angie
I love spring, all the garden waking up and the wonderful blossom , my pear tree is always a mass of colour and it is only a small tree but so nice. The light evenings to walk the dogs before bed, warmer days to take the bicycle for a spin around the park . And this morning i took down one side of the tarps on the WIR, scrubbed the cube, brushed the cobwebs in the run and took the covers off the cube .All before breakfast ( 7am.....couldn't sleep, shattered now though )
craftyhunnypie
Evening walks on the beach & barbecues are just round the corner - yay!!!! I've been making the most of the nice Spring weather, by being out in the garden & on the fields. Beautiful just before dusk, as everything is still & so quiet. chickencam
I used to have a window cleaner who looked just like the singer from Right Said Fred, he was a fireman by night and a window cleaner by day.

Ooo, was he bald as well? Just my sort! My window cleaner is a gorgeous black man from Manchester, he's always being propositioned by women but is deeply religious and is saving himself....what a waste! lillybettybabs
ooo err! Anyone know a nice electrician that won't over charge? I topped up my vitamin D yesterday and was in the garden in a vest top as it was nice and warm. Started preparing the rather larger bare patches of the lawn for grass seed sewing, secured it all from dogs, chickens and humans. The bunnies went out for the first time this year, Ruby enjoyed it even though see can't see she loves the different smells and the feel of the breeze. Foggy is looking interested to go out but we need to "fix" somethings first.

Goosey Lucy
It's Springing here too, have spent a lovely day in the garden with YS who is off school with a rotten cough, I decided the warm fresh air and sunshine would do him more good than the tv. We have weeded, dug beds, mulched beds, pulled up nettles and ivy and had a lovely time together. Time for a cuppa now
