The Dogmother Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 Betty the Barnevelder bantam was one of Phil's favourites; he'd taught her to sit on his shoulder or hand when he sat down outside. She died today.... right as rain this morning and still laying the odd egg, which is no mean feat at 6 years old. Must have been a heart attack and she was still warm when I picked her up. Marigold our Vorwerk doesn't like to be held but loves company as long as she is perchIng on your hand or shoulder. As you can see, Rosie was on her way to bed but couldn't resist cuddling them. The Dogmother Posted March 29, 2012 Author Share Posted March 29, 2012 That's one of my favourite photos, shame that Lavinia is so dirty in it..... she'd been letting herself go whilst looking after the wee 'uns so I made up a dust bath for her.
