It should be such a happy time for you but sometimes the balance swings the other way when you're least expecting it. I feel for you- lost my Mum last year and I have some idea as to what you're going through. It'll take time, but a happy future in your lovely new home awaits you. I agree, it's a lovely idea to plant something special, we planted a young oak tree in memory of my OHs brother when he died suddenly.
