craftyhunnypie
Tilly & Frankie are the proud parents of 8 adorable piglets! $ black & 4 stripy. Absolutely gorgeous & what a good mummy she is with them. Poor hubby had to play midwife, as I was at my craft group yesterday & missed all the action! Hubby is squeamish over blood but he handled it all without thinking - bless! All piglets & mummy are well. They already seem to have put on weight over night. Must be all that milkshake! Emma.x

craftyhunnypie
They are Kune Kune. Mummy is beautiful, but growls when you pick them up. A bit protective of them at the min, which is understandable. She's not nasty though. We are waiting for a quiet moment, so that we can susss out how many boys & girls we have. Hubby is phoning the vet tomorrow to arrange castration of the boys & also the parvo injections for them all. We are going to keep 2 girls, hopefully one black & one stripy. I have my eye on a stripy one with a white splodge on its snout, a white belly & white trotters. I hope that one is a girl. Mummy is just one non stop milkshake bar at the moment, so we are not disturbing her & the piglets too much. Frankie ( daddy ) has to leave us soon. I'm hoping he will go to a nice new home for breeding, otherwise he will be ***** (shush). Can't keep him because of keeping his daughters & risk of inter breeding, which is a definite no no. We can't stop peeping at the sweet piglets. Emma.x

ubereglu
They're lovely! The stripy ones are very funky, although I presume they lose their stripes as they grow up?

craftyhunnypie
We managed to pick up a little black one earlier, as it came running to us. That one was a girl & very soppy until it got spooked & then it squealed like mad. He he. Mummy is out & about more, so weare trying to grab moments when we can handle the piglets, without causing mummy too much stress. All piglets are doing well & are podging ( not a real word, but sounds nice) out. Mummy makes them a cave from straw at night to sleep in, so the piglets sleep in the ' bat cave'. I thought chicks were cute, but piglets - oh my god! I think the stripes colours stay, even when they grow up! Emma.x

craftyhunnypie
We have 6 boys & two girls. Luckily the 2 girls are one of each colour - one stripy & one black. As those are our keepers, we have named those two - Polly is the stripy little madam & Petal is the sweetie black one! The boys are their peanuts done very soon, just waiting for the vet to call us back. ( ouch)! They are all podging out lovely & eating solids already, as well as their milk off mummy. Greedy little things they are. They love playing about with twigs & an old tree stump & they have pig races with each other. So much fun to watch! 3 weeks old on Saturday & so adorable! I love their little tails wagging in contentment. He he. Emma.x

Mrs Webmuppet
They are sooo cute. Reminds me of my youth when I had a Saturday job working in the ' maternity dept' of a pig farm (it's was a small family business who cared about their piggies), I had to help deliver piglets and bottle feed the runts and rejects. craftyhunnypie
Hi - just thought I'd update. I've now got a sweet family of 4 piggies. Tilly & Frankie the parents & the 2 baby girls ( Pixie & Petal). All the boys went to new homes. I cried my eyes out when they left me, as I loved watching all 8 of them play together. However, Pixie & Petal are doing really well. They are 9 weeks today and growing fast. He he. They are 'podging' out nicely & Pixie the stripey girl is becoming quite hairy. Petal will let me pat her back until she realises that big scarey human mummy is doing it. I absolutely love my piggies & I will get some up to date photos for you all tomorrow.
